Claims

a circulation path that circulates engine coolant to the heater core;
a heat storage device interposed in the middle of an exhaust pipe of the engine; and a heating path that communicates with the circulation path through a switching valve and circulates the coolant heated by the heat storage device to the heater core. A heating system for an automobile is provided with a liquid temperature sensor that detects the temperature of the engine coolant, and a control means that switches the switching valve according to the temperature detected by the liquid temperature sensor, so that the engine coolant is at a predetermined temperature.
