Abstract

PURPOSE:An antifouling protecting agent to provide a film by coating, capable of removing easily various kinds of dirty things of shoes made of cloth only by washing with a common detergent, comprising an aqueous solution of starch and a water-soluble cellulosic high polymer. CONSTITUTION:Starch is blended with a water-soluble cellulosic high polymer (e.g., CMC, etc.) in a weight ratio of (90:10)-(10:90), made into 5-50wt% aqueous solution, and, if necessary, it is blended with 1.0-3.0wt% ethylene glycol, to give the desired antifouling protecting agent. EFFECT:The titled agent is applied easily to give a transparent and smooth adhesive film.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an antifouling agent for cloth shoes. Specifically, the present invention relates to a protective agent that is applied to the surface of cloth shoes in advance to form a film coating to prevent dirt from the shoes from penetrating into the cloth surface. That is, when the shoes are washed, dirt is easily removed along with the film coating.

Various compositions of detergents for cloth shoes have been proposed. However, dirt on shoes is made up of complex components.
In particular, oil-based stains and tar pitch stains cannot be completely removed with ordinary detergents alone, and often remain firmly on the fabric.

Based on the above-mentioned circumstances, the inventor of the present invention conducted extensive research on how to easily remove stubborn stains from dirty cloth shoes, and as a result, developed a method of applying an antifouling agent to the surface of the shoes in advance. If you do this, the dirt will not penetrate to the surface of the shoe fabric, and you can easily remove the dirt by just washing it with regular detergent. Moreover, this anti-fouling protectant is... 2) It does not fall apart after application and forms a film with appropriate adhesion to the fabric; 3) It does not stain the fabric; 4) It has good washing and removability.
It was assumed that requirements such as easy removal along with dirt would be required. As a result of further study, the inventor found that
It has been found that an aqueous solution consisting of a combination of starch and a water-soluble cellulose polymer satisfies these requirements.

The present invention will be explained in detail below. In the present invention, cloth shoes include athletic shoes, canvas jerseys, sneakers,
Examples include indoor shoes. As starch, normal starch,
Modified starch or oxidized starch is used. Modified starch is made by reacting starch with ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, sodium monochloroacetate, etc.
In addition, oxidized starch is treated with a modified starch and an oxidizing agent. Examples of water-soluble cellulose-based polymers include carboxymethylcellulose, methylcellulose, hydroxymethylcellulose, and hydroxyethylcellulose, with carboxymethylcellulose being particularly preferably used.

Starch and water-soluble cellulose polymers have good compatibility;
These aqueous solutions are colorless and have low viscosity, and when applied to the surface of shoes and allowed to air dry, they form a transparent, smooth, and adhesive film. The application method is not particularly limited, and may be applied appropriately using a brush, a brush, a finger, or the like. The thickness of the coating is not particularly limited, but is usually 0.1 to Q, 5 mm after drying.
Good condition. The blending ratio of this antifouling protective agent is usually the ratio of starch to water-soluble cellulose polymer (weight ratio).
The ratio is 90:10 to 10:90, preferably 60:40 to 40:60. The concentration of the aqueous solution of starch and water-soluble cellulose polymer is selected to be 5 to 50% by weight, preferably 10 to 40% by weight. Furthermore, 10 to 10% of ethylene glycol is added to this protective agent.
By adding about 3.0% by weight, flexibility can be imparted to the film.

Shoes coated with this protective agent can be easily removed by washing with a normal detergent or simply with water, even if various stains are firmly attached. Moreover, this protective agent can fully satisfy various requirements as an antifouling protective agent as described above.

Example 1 An antifouling protective agent having the compounding ratio shown in Table 1 was applied to cloth athletic shoes with a brush, and dried at room temperature to give about 0.1 to 0.21 ml of the antifouling agent.
A thick coating film was formed. On this film surface,
2% bentonite was made into a slurry with water, and tar pitch and tar pitch were deposited on the slurry. When I washed the dirty sports shoes after leaving them for a day and night, I found that in the case of artificial contamination caused by mud splashing, the dirt could be removed just by washing with water. In addition, in the case of tar pitch, stains could be removed by washing with a commercially available detergent.
