CONSTITUTION:21.2g I2 and 16.0g SO2 are disolved in 2-pyrrolidone and further 2-pyrrolidone is added thereto to give 500ml soln. in total. On the other hand, diethanolamine is dissolved in methanol, and SO2 is bubbled into this solvent mixture, and further methanol is added to prepare a titration soln. contg. 86vol% methoanol, 10vol% diethanolamine, and 4vol% SO2.
