    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 中央部に読み取り穴が形成された保持板の周囲を覆うフ
    ードと、前記保持板に支持され且つ前記フード内で前記
    読み取り穴の周囲に配置される照明器具と、前記フード
    が着脱自在に取り付けられ且つ読み取りレンズを収納す
    る鏡筒とこの鏡筒の後端に設けられたイメージセンサと
    が組み込まれた本体とからなるハンドスキャナにおいて
    、前記鏡筒の前端部と前記読み取り穴との間に位置して
    これらを連通ずる筒状の防塵壁を前記本体に固定したこ
    とを特徴とするハンドスキャナの防塵装置。
