次励磁型の誘導発電機と主軸の回転数変動検出手段、お
よび上記誘導発電機の1次側交流出力を受けて同発電機
の2次励磁用の適正周波数に変換するための周波数変換
装置であって、上記1次側交流出力を受け、これを直流
電力に変換するコンバータ、このコンバータを直流出力
を一方の入力端子に受け、他方の入力端子には直流の初
期励磁電源からの直流電力を受け、これら2人力の内い
ずれか高い方のレベルのものを出力するオア回路、この
オア回路の出力を受は上記回転数変動検出手段からの検
出出力と基準値とを比較して得られる偏差出力に基づい
て位相制御されるインバータより成る周波数変換装置と
を備えて成り、主軸の回転数の変動いかんにかされらず
、上記発電機の出力周波数及び出力電圧を一定に保持す
るようにしたことを特徴とする船舶主機駆動の定周波発
