Conventionally, the decoration of laminated molded products made of glass fiber-reinforced plastics, etc., has been done by printing on glass cloth or non-woven fabric and laminating them, but it is generally difficult to achieve a beautiful finish due to the roughness of the fabric. In addition, especially when the molded product has a curved or curved surface, such as a bathtub, painted glass cloth or unlined cloth is partially overlapped on the curved surface, so the color of the painting becomes darker and the pattern may become misaligned. However, there is a noticeable flaw in the seams. Furthermore, when laminating painted glass cloth or nonwoven fabric, it is difficult to avoid entrainment of air, which may impair the physical properties of the molded product and cause distortion of the pattern.

The method for manufacturing a laminated molded product of the present invention includes the step of providing a transparent or semi-transparent curable resin layer on the surface of a mold, and transferring a transfer sheet with a pattern formed on a base sheet having many small holes using the curable resin. A process of placing the layer while it is uncured or semi-cured and aligning it with the mold, a process of curing the curable resin layer and transferring the design from the transfer sheet to the resin layer, and peeling the base sheet from the cured resin layer. The special feature of this method is that it consists of a step of applying a protective layer to the painted cured resin layer, and a step of forming a protective layer on the painted cured resin layer.

In the present invention, the curable resin applied to the surface of the mold is not particularly limited, but is usually a liquid transparent unsaturated polyester resin, thermosetting acrylic resin, etc., and contains fillers, pigments, fibers, etc. It may also be semi-transparent. Usually, a mold release agent is applied before applying the curable resin to the mold surface.

The transfer sheet used in the present invention is formed by printing a desired pattern on a base sheet having a large number of small holes, after subjecting it to a mold release treatment using silicone or the like. The printing ink is preferably an oil-based ink that has an affinity for the above-mentioned curable resin and is easily transferred. In addition, the base sheet can be polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyester film,
Plastic films such as polymethyl methacrylate and paper are preferred. These base sheets have pore diameters of 0.1 to 3■
It is desirable to have 1 to 300 small holes per IC. If the pores are too small or the density of the pores is too low, it will not be easy to release the trapped air when laminating the transfer sheets; on the other hand, if the pores are too large or the density is too high. This is undesirable because it causes omissions in the transferred image.

The transfer sheet is placed on the resin layer while the curable resin layer is uncured or semi-cured, liquid or sticky, and is applied with a rubber roller, for example, to form a bond between the transfer sheet and the resin layer. The transfer sheet is passed along the mold while letting air escape through the small holes in the transfer sheet. In addition, if the molded product has a curved surface, for example, two transfer sheets are pasted together using this curved surface as a boundary so that there is no misalignment of the image. The patterns on the overlapping transfer sheets are blocked by the lower transfer sheet and are not transferred to the resin layer, so the patterns do not overlap.

By placing the transfer sheet on the resin layer in this manner, curing the resin layer, and then peeling off the base sheet, the pattern can be transferred to the resin II1. A protective layer is provided on the pattern layer to protect the pattern layer. The protective layer is usually formed of a colored resin layer, a glass fiber elasticized plastic layer, glass fiber reinforced cement, resin concrete, etc., but is not limited to these. After the protective layer is cured, the mold is removed to obtain a painted laminate molded product.

As described above, according to the method of the present invention, a transfer paper with a pattern printed on a base sheet having a large number of small holes is used, and this is placed on an uncured or semi-cured curable resin layer. The air trapped between the transfer paper and the resin layer can be easily discharged by the rolling pressure of a roller, and as mentioned above, the patterns do not overlap, so it is possible to use laminated molding with WT on the curved surface. It is also possible to create beautiful patterns on items with inconspicuous seams.

After applying a mold release agent to the example mold, unsaturated polyester resin 10
A transparent resin liquid consisting of 0 parts of methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, 1 part of cobalt naphthenate, and 0.5 parts of cobalt naphthenate was sprayed to a thickness of about 0.311111 mm using a spray gun. This resin layer was heated at 40° C. for 15 minutes to make it sticky and semi-cured. Next, a transfer sheet with a marble pattern printed with oil-based ink on perforated paper that has been released from silicone is aligned with the shape of the mold, pasted on each side with the curved surface as a boundary, and rolled and pressed with a rubber roller to connect the transfer paper and resin. The transfer sheet was brought into close contact with the resin layer while air between the layers was discharged through the small holes of the transfer sheet. The perforated paper used had small holes with a diameter of about 0.5 mm at a pitch of 5 m. After that, the resin layer was heated in a heating furnace at 60°C for 15 minutes to harden it, and then
The perforated paper was peeled off and the pattern was transferred to the resin layer.

After imparting a pattern to the cured resin layer in this way, 10 parts of white pigment was added per 100 parts of the unsaturated polyester resin composition.
A resin solution prepared by adding 50% of the resin was sprayed onto the pattern using a spray gun to a thickness of about 0.311111% and cured to form a protective layer. Add a glass chopped strand mat on top of this! ! Then, the pigment-containing resin liquid was impregnated and laminated, and after repeating this operation four times, the temperature was heated to 60°C in a heating furnace.
The resin was heated for 30 minutes to harden the resin, and the mold was removed to obtain a bathtub-shaped laminate molded product.
