Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a patterned molded product, such as wiring instruments, tablewares, providing a pattern having a beautiful and explicit reproducibility, by a method wherein a coloring polyethylene series resin powder with a given grain, serving as a pattern material, is mixed in a phenol resin material, and the sujbect product is obtained by molding it by hot-press. CONSTITUTION:A colored polyethylene resin powder with 5-16 mesh grain (according to JIS sieve), serving as a pattern material, is mixed in a phenol resin molding material. A hot-press molding is then made to obtain an objective patterned molded product. Additionally, in case, for example, a grain pattern is obtained, the mixture amount of said pattern material is preferably 0.001- 0.1wt%, and in case a marble pattern is obtained, it may be 0.1-10%.

Traditionally, patterned molded products have been obtained by adding a similar low-flow material, which has been made into a phenol tv@fat molding material, to a phenolic resin molding material, but the process of curing has been difficult. It is difficult to adjust the weight loss by adjusting the kneading roll, and low flowability KIi causes mold gate wiping during molding, and high 7o-ness causes the pattern to flow. There were drawbacks such as not forming a tight pattern, poor model reproducibility and molding continuity, and failure to develop a clear pattern.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks.1 A pattern is formed by hot-pressing a phenolic resin molding material containing colored polyethylene resin powder of 6-I6 Metsu V process as a pattern material using a Japanese Industrial Standards standard sieve. Because it is a molded product,
It was possible to obtain a molded product with a clear and reproducible model.

The present invention will be explained in detail below. The colored polyethylene resin powder used in the present invention is obtained by coloring polyethylene resin, ethylene vinegar (copolymer, ethylene ethyl acrylate copolymer, etc.) with a coloring agent, and using a Japanese Industrial Standard standard sieve from C to A material with a mesh size of 1 grain is used as a pattern material.

The colorant ii* is not particularly limited, and the ratio of the colorant to the polyethylene resin used is also not limited, but it is preferable that the amount of the colorant is 3 to 40 gl6.Coloring The particle size of the polyethylene resin must be 5 to 16 mF using a Japanese Industrial Standards standard sieve. In other words, if the particle size exceeds 6 mf, it is likely that 7 creases will occur in the molded product. This is because mold grains less than US Mefu V process tend to be difficult to form a bright pattern. The amount of colored polyethylene resin powder to be added is not particularly limited and depends on the required pattern. It may be added depending on the degree of grain pattern, but if you want to obtain a wood grain pattern, o, oot to 0.1 part may be added to 100 parts by weight (hereinafter simply referred to as part) of the phenolic resin molding material. If you want to obtain the desired result, it is sufficient to add 1 to 10 parts of phenolic resin molding material to 1 oooilK.Furthermore, the phenolic resin molding material used in the present invention includes phenol resin, cresol resin, melamine-modified phenol resin, and KiV.
V-modified phenol resin, precisely modified 7-enol resin, lignin-modified phenolic resin, Nuff! These include phosphorus-modified phenolic resins, aromatic hydrocarbon-modified phenolic resins, aliphatic hydrocarbon-modified phenolic resins, and the like.

Example 1 A black coloring agent was added to 100 parts of low density polyethylene resin, and after kneading, the mixture was pulverized and sieved using Japanese Industrial Standards to obtain colored polyethylene resin powder with a particle size of 6 to 8 mm. 0.01 part of the powder was added to a red phenolic resin molding material (manufactured by Matsushita Electric Works Co., Ltd., product number CN 7540) '1
00 parts and 1 part to obtain a molding material, and then injection molded in a 100% injection molding machine at a sy l cedar rear temperature of 80°C, a cylinder front temperature of 100'C, and a mold temperature of 160°C. It was possible to continuously and stably obtain a molded product with a beautiful exterior with a black background and a wood grain pattern with good reproducibility. In addition, the molded product had good mold releasability.

Example 2 The process was carried out in the same manner as in Example 1 except that colored polyethylene resin powder with a grain size of 1θ to m mesh was used. I was able to get C. Furthermore, the molded product had good mold releasability.

Conventional Example Black Pheno-IvII with a disk length of 70 m was used for 100 parts of the same phenolic resin molding material as in Example 1! fat molding material 4
was added and mixed to obtain a molding material, which was subjected to the same IK treatment as in Example 1, but the black only appeared in the form of thick rods on the red base, resulting in no wood grain pattern, poor reproducibility, and frequent mold clogging defects. Mold releasability of molded product - poor.
