Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve stability of flames as well as to shorten the length of a flame, by arranging a plurality of burner bodies which are composed of a plurality of flame ports arranged in staggered state by the intermediary of a connecting part, while being arranged nearly in parallel, in a gas burner having flame ports in the state of a slit. CONSTITUTION:A gas burner sucks the primary air 16 and mixes fuel gas which is injected from a nozzle 15, in a mixing pipe 17, and the mixed gas is jetted out of a plurality of flame ports 11 and 12 of a duplex burner bodies 9 and 10. The fuel gas is burnt so as to form a flame 18 consisting of the primary flame 19 and the secondary flame 20, receiving a feed of air 21. In this case, the above- mentioned flame ports 11 and 12 are arranged in staggered state to face to the outside and the inside, respectively, by the intermediary of a connecting part 13. With such an arrangement, the same effect as of the interval of the adjacent flame ports, actually being separated, can be obtained, as a result, the secondary air 21 can flow into flame ports in good condition, to improve the stability of a flame, as well as to shorten the length of a flame.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a gas burner having a slit-like flame port with a short flame length and good flame stability.

Conventional gas burners have many slit-shaped flame ports,
As shown in FIG. 6, the flame ports 1 were arranged in groups so that the short sides of the slits faced each other, and two burner bodies 2 and 3 thus formed were arranged in parallel.

A feature of the burner formed in this manner is that a reflux area is created between the two sets of burners and the flame ports of the adjacent flame port group, which are opposed to each other, so that a stable flame can be obtained.

However, in such a burner, the adjacent flames of each burner port group arranged in the axial direction of the burner overlap, and each burner port group as a whole is formed into a single flame 4 and combusted.

A portion of the combustion air supplied to the recess 6 formed between the burner bodies 2 and 3 arranged in two series was flowing in from both ends 6 and 7 of the burner port group, but the inflow was not sufficient. Furthermore, if both ends were closed, the inflow of air would be worse, the flame would be longer, and the flames would interfere with the flames of the adjacent row of flame ports, causing the flames to overlap, which was undesirable.

Therefore, in order to increase the supply of air to the four parts 5, the connecting part 8 is lengthened to prevent the flames of adjacent flame ports 1 from overlapping.
In addition, a measure was taken to supply air from the connecting portion 8. However, in this case, the disadvantage is that by separating the burner ports 1, the entire burner becomes longer.

The present invention eliminates the drawbacks of the conventional burner having a multiple structure of two or more burners as described above, and provides a burner with a short flame and good flame stability.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below. Two burner bodies 9, 1 each having a plurality of burner ports arranged in the axial direction of the burner.
The burner main bodies 9 and 10 are arranged in a staggered manner with flame ports 11 facing outside the burner and flame ports 12 facing inside the burner, and adjacent flame ports 11 and 12.
are connected via a connecting portion 13. A recess 14 is formed between each burner body 9.10, and four parts 14

The fuel gas supplied from the nozzle 16 sucks the primary air 16, passes through the mixing pipe 17, becomes a mixed gas, and is supplied to each flame port to form a flame 18. This flame is normal - flame 1
9 and two flames 2o, but at this time, if there is a lot of secondary air, the two flames 20 will be small, and if there is a lot of negative air, there will be only two flames 20.

The secondary flame 20 is a diffusion flame that burns with secondary air, and when the secondary air is supplied well, it burns well and the flame length becomes short.

In the above-mentioned configuration, even if the connecting portion 13 is short in the axial direction of the burner, since the flame ports 11 and 12 are arranged in a staggered pattern, the intervals between adjacent flame ports are substantially far apart. It has the same effect, and since the flames from the flame ports burn independently and separated from each other, air 21 can flow in from adjacent flame ports better, and a stable combustion state with a short flame length can be achieved.

Furthermore, since two burner bodies 9, 10 each having a plurality of burner ports 11, 12 arranged in a staggered pattern are arranged, the recess 14 between the two burner bodies 9, 10 has a gap between the corresponding burner ports. A reflux region 22 is generated, which has the effect of further increasing the stability of the flame.

In addition, air flows into this return region 22 from the upper part of the connecting part 21 between the flame ports, and some air also flows in from both ends of the flame port group, and secondary air is also supplied to the inside of the flame 18. This results in good combustion, a short flame, and good stability.

Furthermore, as shown in Figure 4, both ends of the two bar bodies 9゜1o may be closed. In this case, the air inflow from both ends is reduced, but a return region is likely to occur, and a trench is formed. On the other hand, since a large amount of air flows in between the flame ports, stable combustion with a short flame length can be achieved.

Further, as shown in FIG. 1, the two burner bodies 9 and 10 having the burner ports arranged in a staggered manner are arranged so that the opposing burner ports 11 and 12 face the same direction. By arranging all the flame ports 11, 12 so that the spacing is the same, it becomes easier to form a return area and the distance between the opposing flame ports can be made constant.

Further, even if the middle plate 23 is inserted into the flame port 11, 12 to prevent backfire, there is no effect on flame separation.

As described above, the present invention has practical value in providing a burner with a short flame length and good flame stability.
