There was a problem with increased sound.

特徴とするものである。The present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks in a flash fixing device by suctioning/scorching air from scattered toner and toner melting generated when a flash lamp is emitted, thereby achieving stable fixing and low noise of the device. It is characterized by this.
以下、本発明の一実施例を図面によって説明する。An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

After fixing, the paper 1 is discharged by the discharge roller 7. 3 is a paper brake.

。The present invention covers the upper part of the table 8 that guides the paper 1 with a pre-fixing cover 4 and a post-fixing cover 6, and provides a space between the flash fixing section 5 and the table 8 that guides the paper 1 directly below the flash fixing section. After fixing, an exhaust chamber 9 is formed in the cover 6, and an exhaust port 10 is opened in the cover 6 to exhaust scattered toner and melted toner smoke generated on the paper surface through the exhaust port 10. In this case, it is not preferable to provide the exhaust port 10 immediately before the fixing unit 5 because the amount of scattered toner increases and printing becomes more likely to blur. Note that this exhaust toner smoke is discharged to the outside of the apparatus after passing through a filter, a deodorizer, etc.

The lamp, lamp front hood, etc. are prevented from getting dirty, and deterioration in fixing performance caused by dirt on the lamp and hood, scattered toner, etc. can be prevented.
