In this type of rice cooker, a through hole is formed in the bottom surface of the outer pot in which the inner pot is arranged so as to be freely stored, through which a heat sensitive element that comes into elastic contact with the outer bottom surface of the inner pot is penetrated, and an annular protrusion is provided on the periphery of the through hole. A cylindrical body is provided between the annular protrusion and the bottom surface of the outer pot along the outer periphery of the heat sensitive body, an annular rice cooking heater is provided on the outer periphery of the cylindrical body, and a cylindrical body is provided on the outside of the cylindrical body. If the drain hole is located at the bottom of the outer pot and the drain hole is communicated with the inside of the cylindrical body to drain water, juice, etc. to the outside of the outer pot, an annular rice cooking heater may be used. Because of this, solid matter such as rice grains can easily reach the drain hole when the inner pot is removed, and there is a risk of blocking the drain hole.

If water is accidentally spilled into the outer pot 2 while the inner pot 6 is removed, some of it will fall along the outer peripheral wall of the bulge 4 as shown in the figure, and some of it will spill onto the waterproof cover 38. The water falls along the inner peripheral wall of the cylinder 4 through the space between the end of the cylinder 4 and the hooking part 72 of the cylinder 4.
The water falls into the reservoir 85 formed by the above-mentioned gap 81 and falls downward through the water drain hole 84, thereby preventing water from entering into the heat sensitive element 22.

As mentioned above, a through hole is formed in the bottom surface of the outer pot in which the inner pot of the present invention is arranged so as to be freely stored, through which the heat sensitive element that comes into elastic contact with the outer bottom surface of the inner pot is penetrated, and an annular protrusion is erected around the periphery of the hole. and a cylindrical body that stands outside the annular protrusion and along the outer periphery of the heat sensitive body, and an annular rice cooking heater is provided on the outer peripheral layer of the cylindrical body. This is because an outward flange is formed on the lower edge, a gap is formed between the outward flange and the bottom of the outer pot, and a drain hole is formed in the bottom of the outer pot located within the gap. Since the upper part of the drain hole is completely covered by the outward flange, the drain hole is prevented from being blocked by solid matter, and water etc. can be smoothly drained out of the outer pot, which is highly effective.
