DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cabinet, in which concave portions and convex portions are formed on each board, this is placed on a jig, and a decorative film is closely attached to this surface to form concave portions and convex portions. The object of the present invention is to provide a method for easily manufacturing a cabinet using only general-purpose machines such as woodworking machines and vacuum forming machines.

As an example of a conventional method for manufacturing cabinets such as television receivers and speaker boxes, the so-called U-cut method is a method that uses lauan plywood with a decorative film 1 attached to the surface, as shown in Fig. 1. Cut U-shaped grooves 4 at four locations on the back surface of 2 using a U-shaped groove cutting tool (U-cut machine) 3, and then bend the U-shaped grooves 4 inward, as shown in Figure 2. As shown, a top plate 2a and side plates 2b and 2c are constructed, a core 5 is fitted into the U-shaped groove 4 and bonded together, and finally a base plate 6 is bonded to the side plates 2b and 2c.

However, this method requires a special instrument 3 called a U-cut machine to form the U-shaped groove 4;
It cannot be manufactured cheaply, and when bending is taken into account, the thickness a of the bottom of the U-shaped groove 4 must be approximately 0.2 nm, which may result in processing defects. In addition, since the thickness a of the U-shaped groove 4 is relatively small, it is difficult to form a corner part with an accurate shape when bent, which causes problems in appearance. It is difficult to form with a radius of 10 degrees or less, and furthermore, it requires a large number of man-hours to fit and bond the cores 5 one by one into the U-shaped grooves 4, which also has the disadvantage that it cannot be manufactured at a low cost. there were.

The present invention eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks, and each embodiment thereof will be described with reference to FIG. 3 and subsequent figures.

As another method, as shown in Fig. 7, the side plate 8, top plate 7, side plate 9, and base plate 10 are placed on a jig (not shown) in this order from the left end, and the sizes of these are placed on the jig (not shown). A decorative film 12' corresponding to the above is placed, and placed in a vacuum forming machine in the same manner as in the above embodiment, the film 12' is brought into close contact with the surfaces of the top plate 7, side plates 8, 9, and base plate 10. The shape shown in FIG. 6 may be obtained by applying an adhesive to the surface, bending it, and fitting and bonding the convex portion into the groove.

As mentioned above, the method for manufacturing a cabinet according to the present invention includes:
A concave portion and a convex portion that can fit into each other are formed on one side of the opposing sides of each plate that takes over the cabinet, so that when one of the plates is bent, the concave portion and the convex portion fit into each other. The opposite sides of each board are brought together and placed on a jig to position them, and a decorative film is placed on top of this using an adhesive, and the decorative film is applied to the surface of each board. Since the cabinet is formed by closely fitting each board, bending the sides of each board, and fitting the concave and convex parts to each other, the concave and convex parts of each board can be easily processed using ordinary woodworking machines. In addition, since the vacuum forming machine that brings the film into close contact is a very common general-purpose machine, it can be manufactured at a lower cost than the conventional so-called U-cut method, and it can also form thinner parts unlike the U-cut method. There is no risk of machining defects because it is not necessary, and since the thin wall part is not bent as in the U-cut method when obtaining the corner part, an accurate corner shape can be obtained when bending. It is possible,
Furthermore, when forming a corner into a curved surface, there is no restriction by equipment as in the U-cut method, and since the curved surface is simply processed with a woodworking machine, the corner can be formed with any radius. Unlike the cutting method, there is no need to fit and glue the cores one by one inside the curved surface after bending, and simply fit and glue the concave part and the convex part, so it can be manufactured without using any man-hours. Also from this point of view, it has the advantage of being able to be manufactured at low cost.
