When communicating between terminals using a data exchange network, communication is performed according to communication rules or protocols that define the communication speed, code, control procedure, etc. of the network, the terminal, and between the terminals.

Therefore, the network needs to recognize the protocol of the terminal, and the terminal also needs to recognize the protocol of the terminal and network with which it communicates.

(2) Without registering the PID with the network, the terminal notifies the network of its own PID when making a call, and when receiving a call, the PID is notified from the network.

As shown in FIG. 1, terminals C1 and C2 are connected to data exchange network N
If the terminal C1 makes a call, the data exchange network N recognizes it as a PC based on the registration information or the PID from the terminal C1.

At this point, the data exchange network N does not recognize the PID of the terminating terminal C2, but if the data exchange network N does not have a communication function between terminals with different PIDs, the terminating terminal must also have the same PID. Therefore, the data exchange network N notifies the receiving terminal C2 of the PC.

The receiving terminal C2 receives this PC and checks it with its own terminal IID,
If they match, an acceptance notification will be sent back to the data exchange network N, and communication will then take place; however, if they do not match, communication cannot be performed and is disconnected.

Therefore, in the conventional system, if the data exchange network N makes a mistake in the PID notified to the receiving terminal C2, it becomes impossible to communicate even if the terminal is originally capable of communication.

Furthermore, even if the data exchange network N has a function that enables communication between terminals using different protocols, the PI of the receiving terminal
D cannot be recognized, so if the PID notified to the receiving terminal is different from the receiving terminal PID, there is a drawback that communication cannot be performed.

The present invention eliminates the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, and its purpose is to ensure that the PID notified to the receiving terminal is
If it is different from the ID, the terminal PID is notified to the network so that communication can be performed even if the PID from the network is incorrect. Also, if the terminal includes a terminal that does not have a function to notify the terminal PID, This is a method for notifying the PID of a terminal from the network, and enables communication even when the PIDs of the network and the terminal are different.

以下実施例について詳細に説明する。Examples will be described in detail below.

In FIG. 2, when the originating terminal A and the terminating terminal A2゜B2 are accommodated in the data exchange network N, the terminating terminal A2

In order to perform communication from the originating terminal A1 to the terminating terminal A2, the data exchange network N notifies the terminating terminal A2 of PA as the PID upon the transmission of the originating terminal A1.

In this case, since the PID of the fallen terminal is PA, a match is obtained, and the receiving terminal A2 returns an acceptance notification to the data exchange network N, and communication is then performed.

If the PID notified to the terminating terminal A2 is incorrect, the terminating terminal A2 compares the notified PID with its own terminal PID and the terminal PID does not match, so the terminating terminal A2 responds by notifying the data exchange network N of its own terminal PID.

Therefore, even if the data exchange network N mistakenly reports the PA of the PDI of the originating terminal A1 as PIA to the terminating terminal A2, or if the PA becomes PIA due to a transmission error, the terminating terminal A2 notifies the PA as its own terminal PID. By responding,
Communication can now be performed between the originating terminal A1 and the receiving terminal A2.

Furthermore, since the originating terminal A1 and the receiving terminal B2 have different PIDs, if the data exchange network N has a protocol conversion function, the terminal can communicate without being aware of the protocol of the other terminal.

When the originating terminal A1 makes a call, the data exchange network N uses the registration information or notification from the originating terminal A1 to determine the PI of the originating terminal A1.

That is, when the originating terminal A1 makes a call, the data exchange network N grasps the PID of the originating terminal A1 in the same way as in the above embodiment, and then determines the PID of the terminating terminal, regardless of the type of protocol of the originating terminal. First, Pc of the PID of terminal C2 is notified to the receiving terminal regardless of the type of the receiving terminal.

The receiving terminal C2 receives the PI notified from the data exchange network N.

When communicating from the originating terminal A1 to the terminating terminal A2 or B2, the terminating terminal is notified of the PID PC from the data exchange network N, and the terminating terminal A2. In B2, as a result of checking the own terminal PID with PA or PB, there is a mismatch, so the own terminal PID
sends a response to notify the data exchange network N of the PA or PB.

As explained above, according to the present invention, even if the PID notified by the network to the receiving terminal is incorrect, communication between terminals using different protocols is possible, and the PID of the terminal is transmitted to the network. Even if a network accommodates only one type of terminals that do not have a notification function, there is an advantage that communication between terminals using different protocols is possible.
