[Detailed description of the invention] Inner tapers are provided at the tips of the plurality of metal legs, and the foam member,
For example, in fixing devices such as nails that are driven into soft materials such as foamed concrete to achieve the effect of preventing the tip from separating, conventionally, the angle and direction of the internal taper, the number of legs with the internal taper, etc. Various proposals have been made regarding this.

Figures 1 and 2 show examples of this. In the case shown in Figure 2, each leg itself has a taper that gradually becomes larger in diameter, and as the nail is driven in, the outer surface of the leg of the nail and the foam member are connected. It is devised to increase the frictional resistance and improve the removal prevention effect.

These proposed so-called open leg nails are naturally useful for attaching boards and equipment as nails, but they have a nail head or large diameter part at one end, and the cross-sectional shape of the leg pieces is square or round. It was semicircular in shape and relatively small in diameter.

By the way, what is newly proposed here is not the above-mentioned nails, but a flat plate-shaped mounting bracket having holes, bolts, and other means for attaching equipment such as piping bands.

Regarding this metal fitting, an attempt was made to provide an internal taper at the tips of the pair of legs based on the above nail proposal, but in this case, a serious problem occurred unlike the nail.

In other words, unlike forming a taper on the leg of a small-diameter nail, the tip of this type of metal fitting, which has a thickness of 1 to 2 mm and a width of 15 to 35 mm, is cut wide and thin to 1 to 2 mm. It is difficult to form a tapered part using a press, and if you then try to form this tapered part by forging deformation using a press, you can obtain a taper, but a serious problem arises in that the area around the compressed tapered part swells. do.

Of these two deformed parts, the rear side 3 is the problem, and when the metal fittings are driven in as shown in the figure, the bulge on the rear side 3 creates a gap 4 between the inner surfaces of the two leg pieces and the foam member. .

In reality, this gap is not a complete cavity, and powder of the foamed member is present, but the inner surface of the leg piece and the foamed member do not come into close contact, which is a major cause of reducing the pulling force.

Even if such deformation does not occur,
If the structure is such that the inner tapers simply face each other, the excessive leg opening will tend to spread outward from the beginning 1b due to the resistance of the member that the inner tapered part receives at the beginning of driving into the member. The side surface and the foamed member do not come into close contact with each other, and the pulling force tends to decrease.

All of the split-leg nails that have been proposed so far open the legs when driven into the nail, but the force that resists pulling out is based on the frictional resistance of the outer surface of the leg.

As mentioned above, conventional leg nails have small diameter legs, so if force is applied to compress the foam member toward the inner surface of the leg, the foam member will be destroyed and the result will be reversed. Resistance will drop rapidly.

Therefore, in conventional split-legged nails, the leg pieces open easily, and many proposals have been made to bring the outer surface of the leg piece into closer contact with the foam member.

Because the legs are in the shape of a wide flat plate, even if the foam member is compressed in the direction of the inner surface, a wide force is applied and it adheres tightly to the inner surface of the leg without breaking. The leg pieces and the foam member inserted between them are integrated to form a triangular wedge shape.

The metal fitting of the present invention cannot be removed unless a sufficiently large pulling force is applied to destroy the large volume of the foam member between the surface of the foam member and the wedge formed here.

From page 3, line 10, it was stated that the deformation that occurred on the inner side of the leg piece was a serious problem. As mentioned above, the present invention is different from the conventional leg splitting nail that only requires the action of splitting the leg. This is because their ideas are different.

As mentioned above, the fitting of the present invention is made of an elastic metal, and has a pair of legs facing each other, each having an inwardly tapered part at one end, and at the joint of the other end of the leg. In a metal fitting in which both leg pieces are joined by means such as welding, and a mounting part is provided with an appropriate hole, bolt, protrusion, etc. for attaching an instrument, the sides where the leg pieces 6 and 6' are in contact with each other are placed facing each other. The flat part 12 of the contact surface is called the contact surface.
When the boundary 9 between the tapered portion 5 and the tapered portion 5 is referred to as the taper base, the leg pieces 6, 6' are shaped in advance so that each leg piece 6, 6' has an arch shape with a concave concave side as shown in FIG. The bent portion 8 provided at the position of the insignia between the joint portion 13 and the tip 1 is bent and deformed, and the pair of pot-shaped leg pieces 6, 6' are brought into contact with each other, and further, as shown in FIG. As shown in Fig. 7, the joint parts 13 of both leg pieces are forcibly brought together so that they are in close contact with each other, and the two leg parts are welded, bolted, riveted, or riveted at the joint part, or the integral material is bent at a part of the attachment part. By joining by means such as
As shown in Figure 7, from the state where they are simply in contact with each other,
These mounting brackets are configured so that they come into close contact with each other and are pressed inward by the elasticity of the metal plates.

When the metal fitting of the present invention having the above-mentioned structure is driven into a foam member or the like with only the leg 6, the gap caused by the deformation of the tapered base and the excessive spread of the legs seen in the conventional leg opening fixture shown and explained in Fig. 3 is eliminated. 4 does not occur and the foam member is strongly compressed inward by the compressive force applied to both leg pieces inwardly, and firmly adheres to the inner surface of the leg piece, so that both leg pieces and the foam member are integrated, as shown in FIG. It forms a triangular wedge shape as shown by the dotted line, which can greatly increase the force against pulling out, and in fact it cannot be pulled out of the casing where the hatched portion of the foamed material is destroyed.

Another effect of this invention is that by having the concave bent portion 8, the thickness of this part increases compared to the case where two flat plates are simply put together. It also has the effect of becoming stronger when the force is applied after driving.

The metal fittings of the present invention have a new structure with the above-mentioned effects, but the use of the metal fittings of the present invention is not limited to simply attaching piping bands. In other cases, it may be bent into a hook shape.

Further, in the illustrated example, the bent portion 8 is provided continuously over the entire width, but in other embodiments, the bent portion 8 may be provided partially, such as only at both ends of the width, or only at the center.

By providing the metal fittings partially, the metal fittings of the present invention are even more resistant to forces in the thickness direction, especially when poured into foamed concrete, but these are included in the configuration of the present invention.
