6 is an outdoor heat exchanger forming a well-known refrigeration cycle;
It is located in front of the propeller fan 5. Therefore, the heat exchanger 6 receives the forward wind generated by the rotation of the propeller fan 6 and is cooled. Reference numeral 7 denotes a slinger ring, which has the role of raking drain water and is formed identically to the propeller fan 5 so as to have a perfect circular shape having the same axis as the propeller fan 5. The slinger ring 7 has an L-shaped cross section as shown in FIG. 3 so that drain water accumulated in the water reservoir 8 of the substrate 2 can be easily scooped up. A top plate 9 is screwed to the air guider 2a and the top surface of the heat exchanger 6 so as to be horizontal from the top surface of the heat exchanger 6 to the top surface of the propeller fan 6. A side plate 10 is screwed to the top plate 9 and the board 2 from the side of the heat exchanger 6 to the side view of the fan 6, and the top plate 9 and the side plate 10 also fix the heat exchanger 6 at the same time. There is.

The present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 4 to 6 of the accompanying drawings showing one embodiment thereof. Here, in FIGS. 4 to 6, parts that are the same as those in the conventional example are given the same numerals and their explanations will be omitted. Further, the structure of the air conditioner except for the top plate is the same as the conventional one, so the explanation will be omitted.

In the figure, since the drain water scraped up by the slinger ring follows a fixed trajectory as explained in Figure 2, the top plate 9 is installed at an angle to the upper end of the heat exchanger 6 as shown in Figure 4. This is fundamentally different from the conventional method. This prevents water droplets from dripping at the edge of the top plate and guides much of the drain water to the upper part of the heat exchanger 6. Further, on the lower surface of this top plate 9, a water sprinkling plate 1 is provided with a sound absorbing material 11 and a large number of water sprinkling protrusions 13 on the surface.
2 are pasted together in two layers.

In the above configuration, when the drain water scooped up by the slinger ring 7 hits the inclined top plate 9, it collides with a large number of water sprinkling protrusions 13, breaks into pieces, and falls. At the same time, some of the drain water adhering to the top plate 9 is transferred to the water sprinkling protrusion 13.
The heat exchanger 6 passes through a narrow passageway and is guided to the upper part of the heat exchanger 6, where it exchanges heat with the heat exchanger 6. As a result, the heat exchange rate will be increased. - The finely broken water droplets that fall are effectively scattered toward the heat exchanger 6 by the forward wind pressure applied to the heat exchanger 6 by the propeller fan 6, thereby increasing the heat exchange efficiency. Furthermore, by sandwiching the sound-absorbing material 11 between the top plate 9 and the water sprinkling plate 12 provided with water sprinkling protrusions 13 against which the drain water that has been scooped up directly collides with, the impact noise of the scooped up drain water can be alleviated. It can also reduce noise.

In this way, tilt the top &9 toward the heat exchanger 6 side, and further,
By attaching a double-layered member consisting of a sound absorbing material 11 and a water sprinkling plate 12 with a large number of water sprinkling protrusions 13 on the surface to the bottom surface of the top plate 9, the top plate 9 can be sprung up compared to the conventional structure. Eliminate the impact noise of drain water and effectively use the heat exchanger 6
can lead to. At the same time, the problem of irregular metallic sounds caused by water droplets dripping from the top plate 9 hitting the fan 6 is also solved.

As is clear from the above embodiments, the water sprinkling device for an air conditioner according to the present invention is provided with a blower having a propeller fan with a slinger ring integrated on its outer periphery. A top plate is provided on which the water collides, the top plate is tilted downward toward the top of the heat exchanger, and a water sprinkling plate with a large number of water sprinkling protrusions on the surface is installed on the bottom of the top plate using sound-absorbing material. The slope of the top plate allows the scattered drain water to be effectively guided to the heat exchanger side, thereby promoting the evaporation of drain water even more effectively, and at the same time increasing the heat exchange rate. Furthermore, by connecting a water sprinkler plate to the top plate through a sound absorbing material, it has various advantages such as the sound effect of scattered water droplets and the effect of water droplets scattering are further improved. be.
