。本体コおよび蓋体3はそれぞれ中空二重壁構造に構成

成されている。ヒンジqはブロー成形時、金型キャビテ
ィ内の圧縮部にて圧縮され薄肉に形成されている。また
、ヒンジqは成形後部分的に除去し複数のヒンジIIa

するに、第2図においてポリエチレン・ポリプロピレン
などの熱可塑性プラスチ、りを押出機(図示せず)にて
溶融混練し、押出ヘッドSより筒状のパリスン6として
押出す。ついで分割形式の金型7を閉鎖した後、バリス
レ6内に吹込針gより圧縮空気などの加圧流体を吹込み
、金型7内のパリスン6をブp−することにより中空二
重壁構造の本体コと蓋体3が形成される。このとき金型
7の圧縮部にてパリスン6を挟持圧縮することにより薄
肉のヒンジダが形成される。ついで冷却した後金型7を
開き、成形されたプラスチックケースを取出し、余剰の
パリを除去する。次に第3図に示すようにヒンジダを部
分的に打抜き、切削などの手段にて除去し、複数のヒン
ジfa・llbを形成する。また一つのヒンジlIaの
長さLは該ヒンジ幅Wの7〜5倍、さらには7〜3倍に
形成するのがヒンジ特性の面で好ましい。即ち、長さL
が幅Wの7倍以下であるとプラスチックケースとして使
用したときヒンジに亀裂が生じ易く長期の屈曲に耐える
ことができない。また長さLが幅Wの5倍以上であると
ヒンジの剛性が強すぎて蓋体を閉じても係止しないかぎ
り自然に開いてしまい、またヒンジ付近の本体、蓋体が
変形してしまい、本発明の目的を達成することができな
い。このときヒンジの数は2つに限定されるものではな
く、所望する数に形成でき、且つ形状も何ら限定される
