    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 軸方向長さを縮小し得るステアリング軸と、ステアリン
    グ軸を回転自在に支承するステアリングコラムと、ステ
    アリング軸およびステアリング軸−ラムの軸方向移動に
    伴い衝突の工杢ルギーを吸収する装置と、ステアリング
    コラムに固定されており車体部分にステアリングコラム
    を軸方向下方への移動を許すように取り付けるコラムブ
    ラケットと、コラムブラケットを車体部分に装着する装
    置とを有するエネルギー吸収ステアリング装置において
    、前記コラムブラケットは車体部分に取り付けるための
    取付板を有し、取付板はハンドル側を開放したボルト穴
    を具え、ボルト六番１取付板のステアリングコラムに遠
    い側の部分を変形しやすくする取付板上の位置に幅の狭
    い可変形部分を残して設けた穴に接続していることを特
    徴とするエネルギー吸収ステアリング装置の取付装置。
