られる弾性部材の撓み・荷重特性を示すグラフ図、第５
図は本考案の一実施例に係るステアリングコラム保持構
造を示す第３図と同様の断面図、第６図は上記実施例に
おいて用いられる弾性部材を示す拡大図でａは側面図、
ｂは平面図、第７図は上記実施例において用いられる弾
性部材の撓み・荷重特性を示すグラフ図、第８図は本考
案において用いられる弾性部材の変更例を示す斜視図で
ある。 １・・・ステアリングホイール、２・・・ステアリング

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ステアリングホイールが取付けられたステアリングシャ
    フトを軸受を介して支持するステアリングコラムの下端
    部を、軸体及びこれに連結した保持部材により車体パネ
    ルに回動及び摺動自在に支持すると共に、前記ステムリ
    ングコラムの略中間部にロック機構を設けることにより
    、ステアリングホイールを標準位置より上下に調整可能
    に保持してなるステアリング装置において、軸体と車体
    パネルとの間に金属製の弾性部材を互いに導電接続する
    ように挿着したことを特徴とするステアリングコラムの
    保持装置。
