  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １　曲率半径の大きな扁平部と、曲率半径の小さな彎曲
    部を有する触媒の外周面に所定の肉厚を有する発泡セラ
    ミック製の保持材を巻回してケーシング内に収納した触
    媒コンバータにおいて、扁平部を覆う前記保持材は厚肉
    に彎曲部は薄肉になるように、した触媒コンバータ。 ２　前記保持材は殖媒本体の彎曲部を除き覆う程度の長
    さを有する薄肉のもの２枚から構成し、触媒本体の扁平
    部が二重になるように重ね合わせてなる実用新案登録請
    求の範囲第１項に記載の触媒コンバータ。
