[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention relates to a flint piece for a retaining frame for civil engineering and construction, and it is capable of easily and quickly erecting and dismantling a retaining frame structure, shortening the construction period and reducing construction costs. Of course, the main purpose is that it is easy to attach soil pressure gauges, preload jacks, etc., and that there is less buckling due to axial force and that stress is transmitted evenly.

In conventional mountain retaining work, it is common to connect the target member and the strut to each other in a perpendicular state, and then erect two flint pieces across the target member from both sides of the strut. It took a lot of work to connect them together, and it was impossible to ensure accurate connections.

Therefore, for example, there is a so-called trapezoidal flint piece as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 52-66303, and although it has certain advantages, the proposed piece is not suitable for use with preload jacks and soil pressure gauges that are essential for mountain retaining work. Furthermore, when joining the flint piece and strut member, there was no consideration given to the attachment of the cover plate, and buckling was likely to occur due to the strong axial force. There is a problem with this.
