Using a thin metal sheet rolled as a flat plate member,
When forming a container-like box body consisting of a bottom part with a rectangular (including square, same hereinafter) outline and a side wall part extending perpendicularly from the periphery of the bottom part, conventionally, the four corners of a rectangular thin metal sheet material were generally used. Cut out appropriate notches, bend the peripheral edge of the rectangular thin metal plate along the rectangular outline connecting the roots of these notches to form side walls, and braze the joining ends of adjacent side wall parts as appropriate. The joints between adjacent sidewalls may be made by leaving strip-shaped ears of a certain width along the edges of the sidewalls to be joined together, and by folding these ears overlapping each other. Forming a container-like box is being practiced.

However, the container-like box manufactured by such conventional methods has the disadvantage that leakage is likely to occur at the bottom corner where the two side walls meet the bottom.

2-111019), at each corner of a rectangular (including square) thin metal plate, a square area including the corner is defined, and the square area is further divided by a diagonal line passing through the corner. Divide it equally to define two isosceles right triangle areas,
At two hypotenuses that sandwich the corners of the two isosceles right triangular areas, the periphery of the rectangular thin metal plate was cut into a strip along the hypotenuses to somewhat reduce the two isosceles right triangular areas. Two isosceles right triangular regions are formed, and the thin metal plate is folded so as to overlap these two isosceles right triangular regions to form an isosceles right triangular piece, and the isosceles right triangular piece is folded into one of the two isosceles right triangular regions. A thin metal plate box body is proposed, which is formed by overlapping a flat part of an adjacent thin metal plate on one side and bending the remaining peripheral edge of the thin metal plate inward into a band shape.

According to the present invention, such a purpose is to define a square area including each corner of a rectangular (including square) thin metal plate, and define a second corner opposite to the corner of the square area. Then, by drawing a diagonal line and two quarter lines forming an angle of 22.5 degrees from this diagonal line on both sides of the square area, four triangular areas are defined in the square area, and two of them are right triangles. At the shortest side of the area, the thin metal plate is cut into strips along the shortest side to form two right-angled triangular areas that are slightly reduced from the ironworking right-angled triangular area, and further 67 of the two reduced right-angled triangular areas are cut. . Cut out the remaining corners of the thin metal plate along the line connecting the 5° angles to define four right triangular regions with 22.5° angles gathered at the second corner, and The thin metal plate is folded so that two adjacent right triangular pieces overlap each other along the hypotenuses of the two right triangular areas to form two right triangular pieces, and each of these two right triangular pieces is It is closely related to a box body made of a thin metal plate, which is formed by overlapping a flat part of a thin metal plate and bending the remaining peripheral edge of the thin metal plate inward into a band shape.
