An object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing an inorganic substrate that can efficiently produce molded products of good quality.

Molding in wet mats (in a hydrated state) has poor mold releasability due to the strong adhesion of wet mats to rolls or presses, which requires a release agent application step before molding, which increases the number of processes and makes it difficult to mold. It has the disadvantage that it requires a long time, and since it is painted after drying, the water absorption effect of the board increases and the amount of paint applied increases.

Before the press molding process shown in FIG. 1, the release agent-containing paint 2 is applied to the wet mat 1 using an applicator 10, as shown in FIG.

This method has the advantage of reducing the number of steps and processing time.

Since a mold release agent is blended with the mold release agent, the mold release property after molding is also good, and the surface condition of the obtained inorganic substrate is also advantageous.
