Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the maintenance performance and the control accuracy of an ingot guiding device by supporting the guiding rolls in the curved part of said device on an integral support frame and adjusting roll alignment off-line. CONSTITUTION:The lower support roll groups 9 of a guiding device for a strand in a curved part are supported on a support frame 5. Upper roll groups 8 are supported on an upper frame 11 by every few pieces, and the frame 11 is supported on the sliding surface of a guiding frame 10 supported to the frame 5 and is so positioned by an adjusting device 12 as to maintain prescribed roll gaps. The frame 5 supports the rolls at a fixed fulcrum 14 and a movable fulcrum 15 on the upper and down stream sides in the curved part, and aligns the centers of the rolls off-line. Said frame adjusts the alignment of only the joints between the support roll parts 3 and horizontal parts 17 on-line. 企かるべく発明された彎曲部一体型ストランド案内装置
に関するものである。

動作可能な構造とする事によりストランド厚み変更時の
ストランド案内装置をオフラインの型変え作業ガしに所
定のストランド厚のストランド案内装置へと変更出来る
機能を持たせる事が可能である。
