Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the wake distribution uniform and to improve the propulsion performance by fitting a stern rectifier fin so that its angle can be changed in the bow-to-stern lengthwise direction and broadside direction and by setting the fin in the optimum direction in accordance with the changes of the draft and trim. CONSTITUTION:A fin 2 is fitted so that its angle can be changed in relation to the bow-to-stern lengthwise direction by means of a toothed wheel 5 fitted to the fitting axle 3 of the stern fin 2 and a pinion connected to a motor 7. Furthermore, the fin 2 is set at an angle for the best rectification factor by changing its inclination in the broadside direction with a torque hinge 4 through an oil hydraulic pipe line 4b. Therefore, the fin can be set in the optimum direction in accordance with the changes of the draft and trim due to the cargo and ballast conditions of the hull.

適に働きうるものとはならない。それで本発明では整流
フィンの方向を船首尾方向で、また舷方向で変えられる
ようにし、きっ水、トリム等の変化に応じてこれらを最
適の方向としてこれによりウェーク分布の均一化を計り
、推進性能の向上。
