Automotive outfitting lines usually set the car body on a trolley, and move the trolley continuously or intermittently in the direction of travel using rails laid on the floor (work surface). is common.

It is natural that such an outfitting line has several curves, and the prescribed outfitting work is performed on each straight section, but the round of the curved section must be made larger than a certain level in order for the bogie to move smoothly. It does not move, it is impossible to work on the front and rear of the car body because the distance between the front and rear bogies becomes small in the curved part, and the circumferential speed becomes faster in the curved part in the case where the bogie moves continuously. The workability of the line space occupied by the curved portion is extremely poor, as it is extremely difficult to work with.

In addition, in the above-mentioned outfitting line, the work process under the floor of the automobile, such as the process of installing engines and suspension assemblies, is carried out by digging down the floor to form a pit P, as shown in Figure 6. It is common for workers to go inside and carry out outfitting work under the floorboards of automobiles.

However, in this conventional system, the subline SL, where the engine, suspension assembly, etc. are transported, has to be installed on the floor (normal work surface) F like the main line ML, so the In order to put the engine etc. under the floor of the car body, the rail R of the main line ML gets in the way, and it is necessary to lower a part of the rail R before putting the engine etc. under the floor. In addition, since the workers have to work inside the pit P, they are unable to move freely due to the surrounding walls, resulting in extremely poor work efficiency and work environment. The workers are also extremely mentally and physically fatigued, and improvement is required. has been done.

In order to solve the above problem, it is possible to use a lifting method in which a mobile crane is installed above the car body to lift it and float it, as is done with general railway vehicles, but this method requires large-scale equipment and equipment. Not only is the cost expensive, but the hoisted car body is much lighter than a railway car and therefore unstable. However, there are problems such as the need for large hangers, making it difficult to use in small to medium-sized automobile production outfitting lines.

The lateral rail 3 is divided into three parts: a fixed rail 3a in the center and movable rails 3b, 3c on both sides of the fixed rail 3a. It is constructed so that it can move in the longitudinal direction of the rail 3 to a position where it is joined to both end faces of the rail 3 and to a position where it is separated from the rail 3.

Here, the front wheels of the longitudinal wheels 10a of the bogie 10 are positioned on the rail 1' on the floor beyond the lifter L1, passing over the rail 2 on the lifter L1, and the rear wheels are positioned on the rail 1 in front of the lifter L1. At this position, the front and back positions are regulated by, for example, a stopper 6 and an anti-back stopper 5 provided on the floor F, and the lifter stops while straddling the lifter L1.

In this state, the lifter L1 rises and stops at a predetermined height, but when the lifter L1 rises, the cart 10 is supported by the lateral running wheels 10b fitting into the lateral running rails 3, and the lifter L1 rises. At this position, the front end of the traverse rail 3 is in a state where it is connected substantially flush with the end of the rail 11 for the underfloor outfitting process, which is fixed at a predetermined height in a direction perpendicular to the rail 1.

Then, the lateral running wheel 10b rolls from the lateral running rail 3 onto the rail 11, and is further pulled in by the bogie retracting cylinder device (for example, an air cylinder) 12 provided on the rail 11 side, and is moved to the underfloor outfitting process section B. As described above, in the present invention, in the outfitting line, the underfloor outfitting process parts such as the engine, front suspension assembly, rear suspension assembly, etc. that are to be installed from under the floor of the car body are carried out by the worker while standing on the normal work surface. A lifting lifter that is located at a position higher than the normal line to allow installation work under the floor, and at the entrance and exit of the underfloor outfitting process section, lifts and lowers the automobile body vertically while it is placed on a trolley; A descending lifter is installed so that the truck can be moved sideways on the rails of the underfloor outfitting line laid at the above-mentioned high position without having to change direction. However, workers can work on the general floor, which significantly improves the work environment and work efficiency, and since the car body is transported horizontally, the number of processes can be increased compared to vertical transport, and the curve Since there is no space, it can bring many benefits such as being advantageous in terms of space.

In addition, under-floor outfitting is often carried out at the front and rear parts of the car body, but since the car body is sent sideways, there are no obstacles such as rails in the front and lower parts of the car body, and the work space is wide, and the suspended earth method is used. Comparatively, the method of regulating trolleys is easy and it is easy to mechanize loading, so there is also the advantage that measures against aging of workers, such as automation of equipment and reduction of heavy objects, etc., are facilitated.
