However, these cleaning tools can remove dust from smooth surfaces such as tatami mats and hallways, and small pieces of food, paper, and other easily absorbed dust that simply rests on the surface of pile fabrics such as carpets. Fibrous dust such as lint, cotton dust, and hair generated from clothes that easily get tangled in the naps of pile fabrics may be difficult to remove, or they may get tangled with the bristles, significantly reducing the dust removal effect. I couldn't clean it enough.

Next, push the push rod 23 to move the main body A over the surface to be cleaned in the direction of arrow a.
When the main body A is moved forward, the driving wheels 1, 1 rotate in the opposite direction, and the driven wheels 4 in contact with these rotate in the direction of movement of the main body A, so the roll brush 7 also rotates in the same direction, and the roller brush 7 rotates in the same direction, cleaning carpets, etc. Roll brush 7 removes relatively coarse dust on the pile surface.
As is known, the dust particles are splashed upward by the bristles 6 and collected in the dust collection chamber 3 on the traveling direction side.

On the other hand, the floating brush body 12 attached to the dust collection chamber 3 on the left side is located at a position where the contact 17 receives a frictional force in the opposite direction from the pile surface such as a carpet, and brings the inclined pile group 11 into contact with the surface to be cleaned. After pulling out the shock absorbing elastic body 20
Since the rotation is stopped by the bristles 6 of the roll brush 7, fluff, lint, fine dust, etc. left on the pile surface of the carpet etc. without being cleaned by the bristles 6 of the roll brush 7 are removed by the countless fine bristles of the inclined pile group 11. Scraped between the tips.

Next, when the main body A is pulled in the direction of the arrow a' by the push rod 23, the driving wheels 1, 1 rotate in the opposite direction to the arrow a', so the roll brush 7 is moved in the direction of the arrow a' via the driven wheel 4. While rotating, relatively coarse dust on the pile surface of the carpet etc. is thrown up by the bristles 6 into the dust collection chamber 3 on the opposite side of the main body A.

On the other hand, the floating brush body 12 rotates in the direction opposite to arrow a', that is, in the direction opposite to the direction of movement of the main body A, due to the frictional action of the contactor 17 that comes into contact with a pile surface such as a carpet, and is captured by the inclined pile group 11. The fluff, lint, fine dust, etc. that have been left behind are moved as they are to a position facing the inclined pile group 15 of the fixed brush 16 which is inclined in the same direction as the inclined pile group 11.

When the push rod 23 is pushed again to move the main body A forward in the direction shown by the arrow a, the roll brush 7 removes relatively coarse dust on the pile surface of the carpet etc. on the moving direction side, as explained in the previous forward movement. However, the floating brush body 12 is rotated clockwise around the support shaft 13 by the action of the contactor 17 until rotation is stopped by the shock absorbing elastic body 20.

During this rotation, the fluff, lint, fine dust, etc. that have been captured on the inclined pile group 11 of the floating brush body 12 are transferred to the inclined pile group of the fixed brush 16, which is inclined in the opposite direction to the rotating direction of the floating brush body 12. The inclined pile group 11 is scraped by the group 15 and transferred from the floating brush body 12 to the fixed brush 16, so that the inclined pile group 11, which has been cleaned of dust and the like, is rotated by the contactor 17 and then transferred to the surface to be cleaned again. Captures dust on top.

Furthermore, if the main body A is pulled in the direction of arrow a' once again to perform a backward movement, the roll brush 7 will move the relatively coarse dust on the pile surface of the carpet to the direction of movement, as explained in the case of the previous backward movement. However, the inclined pile group 11 of the movable brush body 12 throws up newly captured fuzz, lint, fine dust, etc. by the action of the contactor 17 into the inclined pile group 15 of the fixed brush 16. At the same time, the dust that was previously held in the inclined pile group 15 of the fixed brush 16 is further pushed out in the inclined direction of the pile, that is, inward by the inclined pile group 11 of the floating brush body 12, and is removed from the fixed brush 16. It separates and accumulates in the dust collection chamber 3.

If the above-mentioned back and forth movement is repeated, the bristles 6 of the roll brush 7 will each time blow up relatively coarse dust etc. on the pile surface of the carpet etc. into the left and right dust collection chambers 3, 3, respectively, but the floating brush body 12 The slanted pile group 11 captures fuzz, lint, or relatively fine dust left on the pile surface of a carpet only in the case of one-way movement, and the slanted pile group 16 of the fixed brush 16 is in sliding contact with the slanted pile group 11. The dust and the like that is scraped off during the slanted pile group 15 and held in the slanted pile group 15 can be removed to the dust collection chamber 3 by the slanted brush 11 of the floating brush body 12 before the next rotational movement.
