[Detailed Description of the Invention] This invention relates to a threading device for a sewing machine that threads thread through the needle hole of a needle attached to the sewing machine body.

Examples of conventional threading tools include those shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.

Reference numeral 1 in FIG. 1 is a threading tool, which is formed separately from the sewing machine main body 2.

This threading tool 1 includes a grip part 3 and a grip part 3.
It consists of a more protruding elastic loop part 4, and the tip 5 of this loop part 4 can be freely inserted into the needle hole 7 of the needle 6.

The needle 6 is attached to the lower end of a needle bar 9 supported by an arm 8 of the sewing machine body 2 via a needle presser 10, with the needle hole 7 positioned in the left-right direction (directions A and B in the figure).

Then, the tip 5 of the loop portion 4 is passed through the needle hole 7 from the left and right directions, and after inserting the thread 11 into the tip 5, the loop portion 4 is pulled out from the needle hole 7, so that the thread 11 is passed through the needle hole 7. I have to.

In addition, in the threading tool 13 shown in FIG. 2, a hook portion 15 is provided to protrude from the grip portion 14, and the hook portion 15 is inserted into the needle hole 7, and the thread 11 is hooked and pulled out. The thread 11 is passed through.

However, since such conventional threading tools 1 and 13 are formed separately from the sewing machine main body 2, an operator must grasp the threading tools 1 and 13 and insert the loop portion 4 or hook portion of the threading tools 1 and 13. 15 must be inserted into the needle hole 7, and although this makes threading work a little easier than passing the thread 11 directly through the needle hole 7,
The loop part 4 or the hook part 15 was simply replaced, and the point of penetrating the small needle hole 7 was the same, and the difficulty of the work could not be completely eliminated.

Moreover, in a sewing machine where the needle hole 7 is located in the left-right direction (direction A and B in the figure) as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the needle 6
Threading is relatively easy because there is sufficient space on both sides of the needle 6 and the presser bar 12 located on the rear side of the jigsig sewing machine, in which the needle hole 7 is located in the front and back direction.
There was a problem in that threading had to be carried out in a narrow space between the two, making the work difficult.

Further, as in JP-A No. 55-21979, the hook needle has a hook portion at the tip, two guides sandwiching the hook, and a holder that supports the hook needle and the guide. There are also known guides in which the tips of the guides are bent outward, but although this makes it slightly easier to insert the hook needle into the needle hole than in the conventional example, it is still the same as the conventional example in zigzag sewing machines. There is a problem with this.

Furthermore, instead of using a threading tool separate from the sewing machine body as described above, as in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 54-72151, the threading support rod is rotated to an appropriate position of the arm mechanism in which the needle bar is supported. A support rod that is freely provided, has a threading piece that slides hiddenly in the needle hole penetrating direction at the tip of the support rod, and also has a contact piece for a fixed portion of the needle bar that rotates downward. There is a known attachment in which the thread pushing piece is guided in the needle hole by guiding the contact piece in the vertical direction and bringing the contact piece into contact with a fixed part of the needle bar. Since it only slides in the direction and rotates by the support rod, it cannot be installed in the narrow area between the presser bar and the needle bar, and therefore it has to be installed exposed to the outside, which can be a nuisance. There was a problem with that.

This idea was developed by focusing on these conventional problems. The presser foot bar is located behind the needle bar, and the needle bar has a needle that passes through the needle hole in the front-rear direction. The threading section is movably supported via a control means, the threading section is interposed between the presser bar and the needle, and the threading section is inserted into the needle hole from the rear to introduce the thread into the needle hole. The support control means includes a support member fixed to the sewing machine body between the needle bar and the presser bar, and a support penetrating the support member so as to be slidable and rotatable in the left and right directions. and an operating arm fixed to one end of a shaft whose sliding and rotational positions are regulated by engaging a control groove formed in the support member, and which can freely intervene between the presser bar and the needle; The above-mentioned threading section has a hook provided at the tip of the operation arm that can penetrate into and detach from the needle hole to freely introduce the thread into the needle hole, and a pair of needle position correction hooks on both sides of the hook, one of which protrudes slightly from the other. The object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems by making it an attachment and making threading easier even in a narrow space between the needle and the presser bar.

The hook 19 penetrates into the needle hole 7 of the needle 6 and leaves the needle hole 7.
It is for introducing the thread 11 into the needle hole 7, and has a thickness that allows it to penetrate into the needle hole 7, a length that allows the tip 22 to protrude from the needle hole 7 and engage with the thread 11, and a space between both guide plates 20 and 21. The guide plates 20 and 21 are provided at approximately the center thereof and at positions corresponding to the lower sides of both guide plates 20 and 21.

In this state, when the thread 11 is passed to the lower sides of both guide plates 20 and 21, hooked onto the hook 24 of the guide plate 20, and the tip 41 of the operating arm 27 is moved backward, the hook 19
The tip 22 of the thread 11 leaves the needle hole 7 with the thread 11 hooked thereon, and the thread 11 is introduced into the needle hole 7 (FIG. 12).

At this time, the threading section 17 is located between the needle 6 and the presser bar 12, so move the operating arm 27 to the right (in the direction of arrow A) to move the threading section 17 between the needle 6 and the presser bar 12. It is only necessary to remove the thread 11 from the hook 19 by moving it to the outside of the hook 19, and threading work can be done easily and reliably.

A sewing machine body in which a presser bar is located at the rear of the needle bar and a needle having a needle hole passing through the needle bar in the front-rear direction is movably supported through a support control means, and the threading section is movably supported. A threading device for a sewing machine that inserts a threading section between a presser bar and a needle and inserts a threading section into the needle hole from the rear to introduce thread into the needle hole, the support control means intervening between the needle bar and the needle. A support member is fixed to the sewing machine body between the rod and the support member, and is supported through the support member so as to be slidable and rotatable in the left and right directions, and is engaged with a control groove formed in the support member to control the slide position and rotation. It consists of an operating arm that is fixed to one end of a shaft whose movement position is regulated and that can freely intervene between the presser bar and the needle. The threading section is provided at the tip of the operating arm and can be inserted into and removed from the needle hole. With a hook that allows you to freely insert the thread into the needle hole,
Since the hook is comprised of a pair of guide plates for adjusting the needle position, one of which protrudes slightly from the other on both sides, it can be formed as an attachment, compared to conventional sewing machines that are separate from the main body. , Semi-automatic operation is possible, making threading work extremely easy and reliable. In addition, the threading part can be positioned between the presser foot and the needle, so the needle hole is located in the front and back direction, and the threading operation is extremely easy and reliable. Even with a zigzag sewing machine, where threading must be done in a narrow space between the presser foot and the presser foot, threading can be done easily and reliably. In addition, with a zigzag sewing machine, the needle is slightly inclined at top dead center. Since threading is performed while being corrected to a vertical position at the threading section, the difficulty of threading work in conventional zigzag sewing machines can be alleviated, and furthermore, the movement of the threading section can be supported and controlled. Since it is regulated by the means, the threading section can be positioned at an appropriate position, and the threading operation can be carried out more easily and reliably.
