Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of lubricating liquid in a vetical underwater motor by forming a load side bracket which partitions between a stator frame and a mechanical seal box of a pressure adusting member having flexiblity, thereby aborbing the internal pressure rise in the seal box. CONSTITUTION:In a vertical underwater motor 100 which has a mechanical seal box 200 at the lower side of a load side bracket 106 of a stator frame 101, a flexible pressure adjusting member 106B is formed at the bracket 106 which partitions between a stator frame and the mechanical seal box. In this manner, even if the internal pressure in the box 200 rises, it can be absorbed by the pressure adjusting member 106B. Accordingly, it can prevent the leakage of the lubricating liquid 300 from the box 200.
