CONSTITUTION:The invented recording paper is provided with layers, laminated in succession on the reverse side, consisting of a film-forming substance having at least one group of -OH, -NH2, -COOH, -CONH2, and -SO3H, and a chromium complex having a structure of the formula as shown on the right, in which R is 14-18C satd. aliphatic hydrocarbon, and R'OH stands for water or a liquid alcohol at normal temp. In place of the laminated layers, a mixture layer containing both of the film-forming substance and the complex may be formed. As said substance having -OH or the like group, casein, gelatin, partially saponified polyvinyl acetate, PVA, startch, polyacrylic acid, polystyrenesulfonic acid, cellulose, methyl cellulose, linseed oil, etc. are embodied.
