Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten a distance between an air blower and a heat exchanger and to prevent effectively cooling of an electric motor and noise generation of the motor by a structure wherein an air passage on the air suction side of the air blower is divided into two branch passages by providing a baffle plate in the upper part of an air suction port, and the heat exchanger is provided in the branch passage on the side where the electric motor for the air blower is installed. CONSTITUTION:An air suction port 3 and an air discharge port 4 are formed in a casing 2 mounted on a cealing 1, and a rough dust filter 5 is provided at the port 3 and a high performance filter 6 is provided at the port 4. Within the casing 1, a partition plate 7 is planted adjacent the port 4, and an air discharge pipe 9 is opened to the partition plate 7. The air passage of the air blower on the air suction side is devided into two branch passages by the baffle plate 10 attached to the upper part of the port 3, so that the air entering through the port 3 is circuited.
