In general, a machine tool having an automatic tool changer has a tapered hole, that is, a tool mounting hole, drilled at the tip of its rotating spindle. Machining operations are carried out, but the chips generated by this machining operation and dust floating in the air adhere to the inner wall of the tool mounting hole and become a friction material when the tool is attached and removed, causing wear on the inner circumferential surface of the tool mounting hole. This caused deformation and reduced fitting accuracy.

As mentioned above, the tool mounting hole cleaning device according to the present invention has the following features:
A dust suction member with a plurality of dust suction holes is provided at the tip of the swing arm, and when this dust suction member is inserted into the tool mounting hole, the dust suction holes are made to have negative pressure and foreign matter is sucked in, thereby removing fine chips. This makes it possible to easily remove foreign matter such as dirt and dust, greatly improving the fitting precision between the taper part of the tool holder and the taper hole of the spindle, and collecting foreign matter in one place without scattering it around the machine or into the air. It has the advantage of improving the environment and efficiently disposing of foreign substances.
