Abstract

PURPOSE:To weld plastic tubes with sufficient pressure and with reduced inside burrs by a method wherein the end of the flare part of a preset plastic tube end is heated and melted and the end is welded to the heated flange surface of a plastic tube joint tube. CONSTITUTION:The flange surface 110 at the joint end of a polyolefin plastic tube 1 and the end 210 of a polyolefin plastic tube 2 are brought into contact with a circular heating jig 3 to fuse the flange surface 110 and the flare end 210. Afterwards, the circular heating jig 3 is removed and the end 210 of the heated flare part at the tube end is welded to the heated flange surface 110 at the joint end. Particularly, if a notch 12 is provided on the inner circumferential edge of the flange surface at the end of the joint, molten plastics can be absorbed by this notch part 12 and burrs can be reduced strikingly. Since the root of the flare part is not melted there remains hardness enough to carry out welding under sufficient surface pressure.

When joining polyolefin plastic pipes, which are difficult to join with adhesives, the inner surface of the plastic sleeve and the outer surface of the end of the plastic tube are melted using a heating jig, and then, as shown in Figure 1, A method is used in which the plastic tube end 2' is press-fitted into the plastic sleeve 1'.

However, this method has the disadvantage that during press-fitting, the molten plastic on the inner surface of the sleeve is squeezed by the tip of the plastic tube, forming a gap 3' at the back of the sleeve, which significantly increases water flow resistance.

The plastic pipe joining method according to the present invention is a method that can alleviate the above-mentioned disadvantages, and involves heating and melting the flared end face of the plastic pipe end provided in advance, and joining the flared end face to the heated flange of the plastic pipe joint end. This method is characterized by fusion bonding to a surface.

以下、図面により本発明を説明する。The present invention will be explained below with reference to the drawings.

In Figure 2, it is a single piece polyolefin plastic pipe joint (elbow), with flange parts 11.
1 is provided. 12 is a notch provided on the inner peripheral edge of the flange surface. 2 is a polyolefin plastic tube, and a flared portion 21 is provided at the tube end. This flare portion 21 is previously provided in a factory by normal flaring processing. 3 is a disc-shaped heating jig.

Then, the disk-shaped heating jig 3 is removed, and the heated flared end surface 21.0 of the tube end is fused to the heated seven flange 110 of the joint end, as shown in FIG.

In this case, the molten plastic on the pressure contact surface tries to flow both inward and outward, but the flow is radial, and the flow resistance to the inward flow is greater than the flow resistance to the outward flow. , 7. The amount of plastic that is squeezed out on the inner periphery of the rung surface or the inner periphery of the end of the flared portion is small, so that the gap formed on the inner periphery of the above can be made sufficiently small. In particular, as shown in the embodiment, if a notch is provided at the inner circumferential edge of the flange surface of the joint end 7, the molten plastic can be absorbed by the notch, and the cracks can be further reduced.

In addition, during the above pressure welding, the only part of the plastic tube end flare section 21 that is heated and melted is the flare section end surface 210, and since the base of the flare section has sufficient hardness, the flare section end surface 210 is heated and melted. It can be connected to the joint flange surface 110 with sufficient surface roughness. Therefore, the fusion strength can be sufficiently guaranteed.

As described above, according to the present invention, the end of the plastic pipe can be fused to the end of the plastic joint with sufficient pressure and the occurrence of inner surface cracks can be well reduced.

従って、本発明は、加熱融着に頼らざるを得ないポリオ

Therefore, the present invention is extremely useful for joining polyolefin plastic pipes that must rely on heat fusion.
