Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a small mixing apparatus easily installed and having excellent mixing capacity, by providing a partition plate having plural holes concentrating fluids after passing to one point in a fluid passing pipe. CONSTITUTION:A partition plate 12 is provided in a pipe 10 passing fluids to be mixed but, in the vicinity of the outer periphery thereof, plural holes formed by drilling are provided so as to direct the fluids toward the center of the pipe 10 and to concentrate the same after passing to one point. When fluids are injected from the holes 14 of the partition plate 12, they are formed into jet streams and these streams are mutually impinged to be formed into fine particles and similar operation is repeatedly carried out at the next partition plate. As described above, a small mixing apparatus easily installed and having good efficiency is obtained.

When oil is mixed with 5 to 20 parts of water to form an emulsion and burned, the water particles vaporize explosively and scatter the oil, which has a circumference of C2, so the oil becomes extremely fine particles and burns. Therefore, combustion efficiency is improved, and the amount of nitrogen oxides and soot in the exhaust gas can be reduced. As the oil and water mixing device used to carry out this combustion method, a stirring type device has conventionally been generally used. However, the stirring type apparatus has a disadvantage in that a sufficiently small emulsion cannot be formed due to the large lid and mixing time required. The present invention is intended to eliminate these disadvantages.

本発明な図の実施例にしたがって説明する。The present invention will be explained according to the embodiments shown in the figures.

When a pressurized fluid to be mixed is poured into this pipe lO from the joint 16 at the left end in FIG.
A jet stream is ejected from 4, and these jet streams collide with each other. At this time, the particulate portion consisting of a single component in the fluid is destroyed and becomes minute particles.

In the above embodiment, six partition plates 12 are used, but an appropriate number may be used as necessary. It is also possible to circulate the fluid and place this device in its path. In this way, the fluid passes through the partitions many times, and an excellent mixing effect can be obtained even with a device using a small number of partitions. The size, number, etc. of the pores 14 may be appropriately selected depending on the required supervision.
