[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a continuous annealing apparatus for bare metal wires, and particularly to an indirect heating type bright annealing apparatus.

Since metal wire drawn from a wire drawing machine or the like is hardened due to processing distortion, it is usually annealed before use.

In this case, there is a method of heating the metal wire by applying current to it, but since there is a problem with contact current application using a current-carrying pulley, etc., an indirect heating type annealing method is generally used.

At this time, if the wire passing pipe is filled with inert gas or steam, so-called bright annealing is performed, and the wire becomes in a state suitable for plating or coating work.

Therefore, the heat of the heating element 5 is transferred to the wire passing pipe 2 through the air layer 4 by radiation and convection, and the wire is annealed by heating the steam layer 3 in the wire passing pipe 2. As shown in the figure, the annealing furnace has a rectangular cross section, so it has a large internal volume and a large area for heat radiation to the outside.

Further, in order to uniformly heat the inside of the annealing furnace 10, the heating elements 4 must be arranged in a dispersed manner, so that the structure of the annealing furnace 10 becomes complicated.

In FIG. 2, a plurality of wire rod passing pipes passing through an annealing furnace 10 have both ends protruding, and each wire rod passing pipe 2 is introduced and filled with water vapor, and the wire rod 1 is continuously passed therethrough.

In FIG. 3, the rod-shaped heating element 5 is replaced by a cylindrical annealing furnace 10.
A cylindrical interior plate 11 surrounds the outside of a large number of wire passage pipes 2 in parallel with the heating element 5, and the interior plate 11 and the exterior plate 7 are connected to each other. A heat insulating material 6 is filled in between.

The annealing furnace 10 configured in this manner has a cylindrical shape, and since the heating element 5 is installed in the center thereof, its internal volume and heat radiation surface area are significantly reduced.

Therefore, even if the electric power supplied to the heating element 5 is small, the wire passing pipe 2 can be maintained at a predetermined temperature, and the time required to raise the temperature of the annealing furnace 10 can be shortened, thereby improving work efficiency.

In addition, the interior plate 11 and the exterior plate 7 can be made by bending a large metal tube or metal plate, so they are easy to manufacture.
Unlike the conventional annealing furnace 10 with a rectangular cross section, it is not necessary to bend large plates at right angles or to combine plates, so it can be manufactured at low cost.
