Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate adjustment of the discharge of an accelerator pump by furnishing the rotation transmitting lever with an adjuster having spring action. CONSTITUTION:At an end of a rotation transmitting lever 14 installed on the carburettor body 1, an adjuster 16, with which the amount of projection can be adjusted by a spring 15 and a couple of nuts, is fitted facing the cam surface 12 of the drive lever 11. An operational arm 17 faces the working rod 10 for accelerator pump, and the abovementioned adjuster 16 is put in contact with the cam 12 by the rotational force in the A direction as shown by the arrow produced by the weight of a return spring 18 arranged in the accelerator pump chamber 7. The discharge of the accelerator pump 6 is adjusted by shifting those nuts in couple on the adjuster 16 and thereby changing the length of the adjuster 16. Besides, the drive lever 11 and rotation transmitting lever 14 are installed at one time using a single stay plate 19, that assures good effectiveness in assembly.
