When shipping harvested green onions to the market, the process of peeling off the aged and inedible withered skin that covers the surface of the white root has been replaced by manual labor and has been automated in recent years, but the process of peeling off the aged and inedible epidermis that covers the surface of the white root has been replaced by manual labor. There are various problems in mechanizing this process of peeling and removing the epidermis, and the reality is that no satisfactory practical product has yet been completed.

Conventional methods for mechanizing this process involve jetting a pressurized fluid such as water or air from a jet nozzle, causing it to collide with the white root of the green onion, and peeling off the skin by the impact effect. Alternatively, a method has been proposed in which the epidermis is peeled off by the above-mentioned means, and a peeling device consisting of a pair of belts or sponge rails is attached to complete the peeling and removal of the epidermis. .

However, in the case of the former method, everything from abrasion to removal of the epidermis is attempted to be carried out using only a jet of fluid;
A large-capacity pressurizing pump is required, and the power source and attached equipment must be able to withstand high pressure. Also, since the radiation time of the high-pressure fluid will inevitably be long for Negi itself, Shirane They have defects such as damage to parts that reduce their commercial value.

On the other hand, the latter method mainly uses pressurized fluid to peel off the epidermis, and then uses a peeling device such as a roll to hold the hanging skin and then mechanically peels it off. Therefore, it is possible to use a relatively small-capacity, low-pressure pump without the need for a high-pressure pump, which makes the device more compact and easier to handle, and has the advantage of not damaging the onions. It has the following. However, in this device, the removing device section uses a belt or roll to forcibly pull the epidermis downward and remove it, so it is difficult to properly and securely pinch the epidermis, and even if it is pinched, Since the forced tensioning time is longer, by the time the epidermis is removed, the stems and leaves of the green onion may deviate from the conveying device that pinches and conveys them, causing problems such as being crushed between rolls or clogging during conveyance. There were defects that occurred. This is particularly true when removing the epidermis of green onions, even though the root hairs remain, as the rolls often pull the root hairs, making it even more likely to cause trouble and thus not being put to practical use. Furthermore, the injected fluid collides with the lower roll with force, but at this time, in conventional devices, the injected fluid collides with skin debris,
Since the mud and mud would bounce around or stagnate in this area, the surface debris and mud would pollute the inside and outside of the machine, causing clogging and malfunctions in various parts.

That is, at least on both sides in the stem direction of the white root part to be supplied,
A peeling device is provided with a plurality of injection nozzles that eject toward the root side, and a pair of rotors that can rotate inward are provided at a position facing the end of the stem on the downstream side in the injection direction of the peeling device. By installing a removing device consisting of a plurality of blades with uneven cutting edges on the shaft and planting them at coarse radial intervals, the peeling of the aging skin of green onions can be prevented. Pressurized fluid can be used to quickly remove the white root without damaging it, and a removal device equipped with a blade with cutting teeth ensures proper removal of the removed epidermis, no matter what condition it is in. The epidermis that stubbornly covers and adheres to the white roots due to aging can be reliably removed by adding and removing the epidermis, making the removal device more adaptable and reliable. By doing so, the present invention aims to realize an easy-to-use green onion peeling machine that does not increase the fluid injection pressure to a large extent, does not damage the green onions, and can be miniaturized.

Next, the operation of the present invention configured as described above will be explained. The green onions A whose root parts are aligned on the deck 21 are held at the starting end of the conveyance belt 2, and the cutter 20 cuts the base part of the root hairs, and the green onions A are transferred to the peeling device 5. Scraping device 5
Then, each nozzle 9, 9... points towards the center of each other,
In addition, since the nozzles 9, 9... are provided with the nozzles oriented downward, the fluid sprayed from the nozzles 9, 9... sprays the entire circumference of the green onion A located in the center from the leaf to the root. As shown in FIG. 6, the epidermis around the entire circumference is abraded almost simultaneously and uniformly. When the tip of the skin B that has been peeled off and hangs downward reaches the inward rotation locus of the scraping wheel 5' (as shown in FIG. 8), the cutting teeth 15 of the blade plate 16 are first ,
9 Touch and engage the epidermis B in the state shown in Figure 9, and at that moment B
Then, the blade 16 that rotates from the other side touches the epidermis B and bends the epidermis, and then peels it off in a B''' shape, starting from the root. It is completely removed and removed together with water into the tank 18 below. At this time, even if there is some skin that is not peeled off, the blade 16 that is rotated next will engage with it and ensure that it is removed.

In the above action, the blade 16 engages with the epidermis B, and at the moment of contact, the blade 16 releases its engagement with the epidermis B, and the tips of its teeth create a cut in the epidermis B, making it relatively Since the skin B is peeled off in the direction of rotation while having a slight slip, the green onion itself is not continuously subjected to a strong pulling force in the direction of the stem body, so the green onion falls off from the conveyance section held by the belt 2 and falls downward. The above-mentioned series of operations can be carried out satisfactorily without problems such as poor peeling in the peeling device 5 and clogging in the removing device 11, which would otherwise occur due to falling.

Next, the water jetted from the nozzle 9 performs the above-mentioned peeling action, and the jet stream is directed to the blade 16 between the two rotating shafts 13, 13,
16 to rotate the scraping wheels 5', 5' inwardly relative to each other. Therefore, in this embodiment, since no special transmission device is required for this purpose, it has the additional advantage that it can be produced extremely compactly with a simple structure. moreover,
Even if the jetted fluid collides with the blades 16, since the blades 16 are plate-shaped and provided at coarse intervals, as the blades 16 rotate, the scraping wheels 5', 5' are guided by the blades 16. Because it passes between
The ejected fluid hitting the removing device 11 does not scatter significantly inside and outside the machine, causing problems such as staining or clogging various parts, and the skin debris and fluid can be discharged extremely smoothly.

In short, the green onion peeling device according to the present invention is provided with a peeling device equipped with a plurality of injection nozzles that eject toward the root at least on both sides in the stem direction of the white root portion to be supplied, and the peeling device At a position facing the end of the stalk on the downstream side in the injection direction, a plurality of blades with uneven incisions formed on the leading edge on a pair of rotating shafts that rotate inward are placed at coarse intervals in the radial direction. By installing a removal device constructed by planting,
When the epidermis is peeled off with the scraping device and placed in front of the removal device, multiple blades of the scraping ring with uneven cutting teeth engage with the epidermis, and as the skin is further peeled off, the stems are removed. Since it is separated from the stem flesh and removed, the epidermis, which is stubbornly attached due to aging, can be reliably peeled off and removed from the stem flesh. Therefore, no matter what form the green onions are in, it is possible to perform a smooth and complete peeling operation without pulling out the green onions from the clamping portion. Even if the pressurized fluid injected at this time collides with the removal device, it is smoothly guided downward by the rotation of the scraping wheel in which blades are installed at coarse intervals. It was possible to prevent skin debris and mud that were peeled off along with the pressurized fluid from scattering, and to eliminate the resulting deterioration in scraping performance and the occurrence of problems. In addition, with the peeling device, it is sufficient to peel the skin of the green onion to the extent that it touches the tip of the blade of the rotating scraping wheel. Therefore, the pressure of the fluid injected from the exfoliating device may be relatively low, making it possible to exfoliate using pressurized fluid without damaging the white roots of the green onions. In addition, it is possible to use a pump that can be used with a general household power source as the pressurizing device, thereby significantly improving the ease of handling the device. Furthermore, the peeling device and the removal device can be placed as close as possible to each other in the entire device, and there is little splashing of fluid, making it possible to provide a compact green onion peeling device that is highly efficient and easy to handle. It has many great effects.
