This invention relates to a back-combing and polishing device for scissors that is capable of reliably polishing scissors in the cutting edge state.

鋏の研磨について述べる。The types of scissors have different shapes depending on their purpose, but apart from Japanese scissors and Western scissors with interchangeable blades, the polishing device of this invention has a blade and a handle as shown in Figure 1. This article describes the polishing of the integrated scissors.

である。The shape of the scissors is gradually tapered from the fulcrum where the two blades intersect to the tip, and for this reason, the back combing and polishing of the scissors is done with a radius line relative to the center line of the scissors, which have different blade widths as described above. Since this is the contact point, the tip c1 must be properly polished.

。In the conventional method of sharpening scissors with a single grindstone,
Because the cutting edge of the scissors is sharp and thin, it is difficult to place the blade stopper on the whetstone surface, and because the shapes of the blades and handles are different, it is difficult to sharpen with a jig, etc. They have no choice but to rely exclusively on manual processing by skilled workers.

This inconsistency directly manifests itself in uneven polishing of the blade line, causing the sharpness and tone to be off.

。A concave notch 7 is provided at the front part of a protruding piece 6 protruding from one end side of the holding plate 5 fixed to the upper part of the support body 4, and a blade of a scissors C is attached to a shaft 8 provided in the concave notch 7. In order to reduce the contact resistance of the roller 9 that contacts the line a, the roller 9 is rotatably supported and positioned in the gap 3, and the other end of the holding plate 5 is provided with a recess having the same structure as the protruding piece 6. Support piece 11 with a notch 10 at the tip
is screwed and fixed into the long hole 12 by an adjustment screw 13 so that the support piece 11 can be moved back and forth through the long hole 12 bored on the side of the support piece 11 and its protrusion degree can be freely adjusted. At the same time, a roller 14 that contacts the blade line a of the scissors C in the recessed notch 10 is rotatably supported on a shaft 15 provided in the recessed notch 10 in order to reduce the contact resistance. The abrasive surface is located on the outside of one of the rollers 9 and 14, and the abrasive surface is located near the axial center of each of the rollers 9 and 14, and the shaft 8,
15 is arranged so as to be perpendicular to the grinding wheel axis.

The shaft 17 is fixed to the upper end, and the blade holder is provided with a hole 21 in the pedestal 20 in which the shaft 17 is loosely fitted so that the shaft 17 serves as a guide for vertical movement of the pedestal 20. axis 1
The blade holder is arranged resiliently so that the stand 20 can move up and down using guide 7, and is formed so that the slope 19 is located above the grinding surface when not in use.

する。To explain the operation of the present invention, first, the axis of the roller 140 of the support piece 11 is adjusted by loosening the adjusting screw 13 and moving the support piece 11 back and forth through the elongated hole 12. The angle θ between the center and the axis of the roller 14 is the same as the angle θ' between the center line of the scissors C to be polished and the blade line a, and then the third part of the blade line of the scissors C is roller 9,
14, place the blade holder on the stand 20, balance the scissors C, press lightly downwards to hit the whetstone surface, and pull it to the right from the contact point of the casing 1 to the tip of the blade line a. The polishing operation is stopped at a position where the tip of the blade does not come off the rollers 9 and 14 (when the tip of the blade is pulled to about the middle of the grindstone 1).
そして、この要領で研磨作業を繰返せばよい。Then, the polishing operation can be repeated in this manner.

Rollers 9 and 14 are rotatably attached to the protruding piece 6 of the holding plate 5 fixed to the supporting body 4 and the supporting piece 11 provided on the holding plate 5 so as to be adjustable back and forth. The axes of the rollers 9 and 14 are perpendicular to the axes of the grinding wheels 1 and 2, and the abrasive surfaces are positioned near the center of each roller 9 and 14, and the abrasive surfaces are positioned near the center of each roller 9 and 14, and the axes of the grinding wheels 1 and 2 are perpendicular to each other. A blade holder having an inclined surface 19 parallel to the grinding surface in front of the roller 9 is mounted on a stand 2.
0 is elastically arranged so that it can move up and down via a spring 18, so even if the polishing work is repeated many times, the scissors C can always perform a constant and stable polishing work due to the rollers 9 and 14 and the blade holder on the stand 20. Even non-skilled people can perform the polishing work, and a uniform polished surface can be obtained, making it especially suitable for back combing and repair polishing of various scissors with different shapes.
