Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform accurate, speedy tuning automatically, by disconnecting an antenna and a speaker from a tuning and a receiving circuit for the tuning, supplying a relatively stable noise from a noise generator, and performing an accurate, speedy adjustment so that the noise output from the receiving circuit is maximized. CONSTITUTION:When a push-button switch 10 is pressed for maximizing tuning, a changeover relay 2 is placed at the lower side, a white noise having flat characteristics is generated by the noise generator 9 and applied to the tuning circuit 3 through the movable contact (b) and fixed contact (c) of the changeover relay 2, and a DC voltage corresponding to the intensity of a signal is sent out to an A/D converter 6. The sent DC voltage is converted by the A/D converter 6 into a digital numeral, which is supplied to an arithmetic circuit 7 to obtain (n) binary or BVD codes; and they are converted by a D/A converter 8 into an analog signal voltage, which is applied to the voltage varactor element VC of the tuning circuit 3. The tuning operation is completed automatically at a maximum point and the fixed contacts (c) and (f) of the changeover relay 2 are connected to the movable contacts (a) and (d) respectively.

Conventionally, the tuning method for wireless communication equipment was to adjust the S meter pointer to the maximum value by turning a tuning knob, but since the S meter pointer constantly fluctuates, it could be adjusted accurately and quickly to the maximum point. It was difficult to match the value, and the operator had to rely on his or her intuition.

Since the wireless communication device of the present invention is configured as described above,
The arriving signal radio waves are transmitted from the antenna (not shown) through the antenna terminal 1, the movable contact a and the fixed contact C of the switching relay 2, and then the tuning circuit 3, the receiving circuit 4, and the movable contact d and the fixed contact f of the switching relay 2. It passes through to speaker 5 and makes it sound. Next, in order to maximize the synchronization, when the push button switch 1o is pressed, the switching relay 2 falls down, and the flat white noise generated from the noise generator 9 is fixed by the movable contact of the switching relay 2. It is applied to the tuning circuit 3 through the contact C, and is further supplied to the receiving circuit, where it collects a DC voltage corresponding to the strength of the signal and sends it to the converter 6.
