Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a double rolling/universal rolling mill which has improved roll changeability by fixing an intermediate housing to a sole plate, providing an outer housing movably, and providing a yoke contg. a vertical screw down device attachably and detachably. CONSTITUTION:A work side (WS) outer housing 1 and an intermediate housing 3 are fixed to a sole plate 4. A drive side (DS) outer housing 2 is supported freely slidably on a sole plate 4, and is connected to the housing 1 by means of a soft cylinder 16. The cylinder 16 is moved to move the housing 2 in parallel with the housing 1 and to displace the same according to the cylindrical length of the horizontal roll. The housing 2 is fixed to the housing 3 by a clamping cylinder 17, and the housing 2 is moved to change over universal rolling to double rolling. ール径を小さくすることが可能である。・このように極
めて合理的なユニバーサルおよび2重圧延兼用圧延機が
本発明により可能となるも尚、駆動用ユニバーサル、ス
ピンドルも門近、大容量の゛クロスピン形のスプライン
