Abstract

PURPOSE:To miniaturize a cartridge, by forming cuts through a part of a short side together with the side plate of a cartridge case in addition to a hole through which the revolving power is transmitted to a disk contained in the cartridge case constituted by providing successively two rectangular side plates and therefore inserting a magnetic head to the cartridge case. CONSTITUTION:A cartridge case 6 is formed by providing successively two rectangular flat plates 6a and 6b at 4 sides by means of a side plate 6c. An opening part 6d is formed to plates 6a and 6b to transmit the revolving power to a disk contained in the case 6, and a hub 2 is rotatably supported. Then a center hole 2a is drilled to the hub 2. The rotary shaft of a driver interlocks the hole 2a. At the same time, cut parts 6e-6g are provided to a side of the case 6. These cuts cover the plates 6a, 6b and 6c respectively. Thus a magnetic head can be loaded to and unloaded from the case 6 from an arrow A.
