Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a magazine transfer apparatus which can drive a magazine holder moved vertically endlessly by a predetermined pitch so as to sequentially store articles discharged from a working machine in the magazine holder. CONSTITUTION:A feeder 11 connected to a working apparatus 12 are connected to magazine transfer apparatus 13, 14 mounted on both sides of the feeder. The magazine transfer apparatus includes L-shaped magazine holders 23 disposed at fixed intervals on a chain or a belt 21 stretched between upper and lower sprockets 16, 18, and is adapted to place an article to be worked, for example a lead frame 26, on the magazine holder 23 one by one. The transfer device 23 is transported step by step according to the movement of the working apparatus 12 so as to put in and out the article to be worked efficiently.

A conventional transfer device of this type has a feed screw 1 disposed vertically, a motor 2 that intermittently drives the feed screw 1 in the same direction, and a feed screw 11 screwed together, as shown in FIG. The loading side magazine 4 loaded on the magazine receiver 3 is transferred from the bottom to the top at a predetermined pitch, and the stored parts 6 are automatically transferred by the feeding device 7. The magazine 5 on the unloading side moves from the top to the bottom to softly feed the parts 6 that have been processed or inspected as requested.

However, in such a magazine transfer device, only one magazine 4 on the loading side! ! When one magazine S on the unloading side becomes full, the magazine must be replaced manually, and the magazine receiver 3 must be returned to its original position by lowering one side and raising the other. During this work, manufacturing and inspection work was halted, posing a serious obstacle to improving work efficiency.

Thereafter, when the apparatus is operated overtime, the motor 20 on the loading side rotates to rotate the first sprocket 16, causing the belt 21 to move and transporting the magazine 25 upward. When the groove 25b at the top of the magazine 25 is at the same level as the guide path of the feed device 11, the photo sensor 30 operates to stop the motor 2G and cause the magazine 25 to
stop the transfer of Then, the first lead frame 26 is sent out from the magazine 25 by means not shown, and is sent by the feeding device 11 to the working device 12, where it is worked. When the first lead frame 26 is sent out,
It is detected by a detection device (not shown), and the loading side motor 20 is activated again by the signal, and the magazine 25 is transferred upward until the next groove 25b reaches the same level as the guide path of the feeding device 11, and the magazine 25 is transferred to the next lead frame. Completed preparations to send out 26.

On the other hand, the lead frame 26 whose work has been completed is transferred to the feeding device 1.
1 to the magazine 25 on the unloading side. The empty magazine 25 on the unloading side is transferred downward by rotating the unloading side motor 2G, and is stopped when the lowest part $25b reaches the same level as the guide path of the feeding device 11. and,
The sent lead frame 26 is placed in the magazine 25 at $2.
Store it by inserting it into 5b. After that, the unloading side motor 20 is operated overtime again, and the magazine 25 is moved downward until the next groove 25b reaches the same level as the guide path of the feeding device 11, in preparation for storing the next lead frame 26. Complete.
