Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the rate of operation of production facilities, by pilling up many magazines and by automatically and sequentially feeding new magazines while pulling out parts from or pushing them into the piled-up magazines.
CONSTITUTION: Parts housing grooves 1a are provided at regular intervals l on the inside of a magazine 1' for storing parts such as lead frames. A rack 1b for feeding by every interval is provided on the outside of the magazine 1'. A plurality of such magazines 1' are loaded in a magazine introduction passage 8. The magazines 1' are moved down by the action of a circulation mechanism 12 while the magazines are held by magazine guides 16 respectively. When the magazine 1' is in a parts pull-out position H, the descent of the magaizine is restricted through the rack 1b by the rotation of the gear 23 of an interval feed mechanism 21. Accordingly to this constitution, the parts in each magazine 1' are sequentially delivered out. When there is only one full magazine 1' left, this phenomenon is detected by a limit switch 9 to give warning.
