PURPOSE:To automatically chamfer the opening end edge of a hole formed in a curved surface of a work, by using a chamfering device in which lapping means is moved back and forth and as well is swung in the direction perpendicular to the direction of back-and-forth movement. CONSTITUTION:The eccentric shaft part 4 of an eccentric shaft 3 which is rotated by driving a drive motor 1, alone repeatedly carries out swivelling motion with respect to the center axis thereof.
