Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily carry out the working of an elongated oil channel, by separating an end face plate into two halves so as to form an oil groove therein before a scroll is assembled. CONSTITUTION:A spiral strap plate 2A is fitted into a spiral groove 9 formed in the upper surface of an upper end face plate 3B1 and is jointed to the latter by, for example, resistance welding. Then a lower end face plate 3B2 is jointed to a boss 4B, by for example, frictional pressure welding, and thereafter, both upper and lower plates 3B1, 3B2 are jointed together by, for example, blazing. No subsequent working is necessary to the thus assembled scroll since grooves 7 communicated with holes 5 are already formed, thereby the working time thereof is reduced.

The external shape of the scroll 1 is shown in FIG. 1, and its longitudinal cross-sectional view is shown in FIG. The scroll 1 is composed of a spiral strip section 2, an end plate section 3, and a boss section 4. And end plate part 3. The boss portion 4 is provided with a hole 5 for supplying lubricating oil and a blind screw 6 on the outermost periphery of the hole.

As a method of manufacturing such a souffler 1 in one piece, a method of cutting and finishing a cast or forged material can be considered, but this method has the following drawbacks. In the case of the cast blank 4'A, the cutting and finishing time is extremely long due to poor dimensional accuracy of the blank. When cold forging iron-based materials, the processing force becomes large and the die is damaged. On the other hand, when hot forging is performed, the machining force is greatly reduced, so mold breakage does not occur, but dimensional accuracy deteriorates and the cutting and finishing time increases, similar to casting. .

Therefore, the current method is to divide the scroll into a spiral fall band plate 2A shown in FIG. 3 and a grooved end plate 6A having a spiral groove 9 with good dimensional accuracy on the surface of the end plate shown in FIG. Each is processed separately, and in the assembly process, the spiral band plate 2Ay2 is inserted into the spiral groove 9 of this grooved end plate 3A, and integrated by brazing, caulking, resistance welding, diffusion bonding, etc. A method using .

Next, a method of assembling the scroll shown in FIG. 5 will be explained. First, the spiral strip 2A and the upper end plate s are connected to the upper end plate s by fitting them into the spiral groove 9, and then the lower end plate 3 and the boss 2 are connected by resistance welding. 4B
f, after joining by friction welding etc., the upper end plate 3B1
and the lower end plate 5B2f are joined by brazing or the like. The scroll assembled in this way does not need to be processed later because the groove 7 continuous with the hole 5 is already provided, and the dimensional accuracy is better than that of cast or forged materials, so the finish is fine. Processing time is also significantly reduced.

また、めくらねじ6も不要となる。Further, the blind screw 6 is also no longer necessary.

Another embodiment will be described using FIG. 6. The scroll having the structure shown in Fig. 6 has a lower end plate "rB" shown in Fig. 5.
2f It is further divided into a lower end plate 3C2 and an intermediate end plate SCS. The lower end plate 6C2 is cut from a cylindrical material,
The intermediate end plate SC3 is easily processed by punching the central part of a disc-shaped thin plate into a cross shape. The assembly method is to join the lower end plate 3C2 and the intermediate end plate 5C3f by brazing or the like. Except for the increase in the number of steps, the steps are exactly the same as those in the method shown in FIG. There is almost no increase in
It is clear that the method shown in FIG. 6 also provides the same effect as the method shown in FIG. 5.

As explained in detail above, the present invention has a structure in which the end plate is completely divided and all the oil grooves are used inside, so there is no need to process a long and narrow oil groove, which was difficult to process in the past. Compared to casting or forging, a scroll material with higher dimensional accuracy can be obtained and the number of cutting and finishing man-hours is reduced, so it has an immediate effect on productivity.
