Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent generation of drawing at the end part of welding and hole formation in the course of welding, by placing a welding stabilizing material between a fixing jig of a material to be welded and a material to be welded, simultaneously welding the welding stabilizing material, too, and thereafter, removing it. CONSTITUTION:Materials to be welded 4a, 4b of two dead thin plates are placed at a prescribed position by butting the end parts, subsequently, dummy plate materials 6a, 6b are disposed, and in the end, these materials are clamped and fixed by fixing jigs 3a, 3b. A butt part 5 of the materials to be welded 4a, 4b is welded by moving a welding torch from one dummy plate material 6a to the other dummy plate material 6b, on the butt part 5. In that case, a welding stabilizing material 8 existing in the lower side of the butt part 5 is also welded simultaneously to the lower face of the materials to be welded 4a, 4b, in the butt part 5. After welding is finished, the welding stabilizing material 8 which is welded jointly is removed, and the same state as only the materials to be welded 4a, 4b are butt-welded is obtained.

. The tools 3a and 3b are fixed to the lower fixing jig 2 by being tightened with melt, air pressure, hydraulic pressure, or the like. At this time, in order to prevent sink marks at the ends of the butt portions 5 when welded, dummy plates 5a and 6b having the same thickness as the welded materials are placed at both ends of the butt portions of the welded materials. That is, the dummy is placed along and in contact with the sides of the two bathed materials 4a and 4b that are butted against each other, and each end of each dummy is held down by the upper fixing jigs 3a and 3b. . Note that reference numeral 7 indicates the direction of the welding torch when welding the butt portion 5 of the materials to be welded. When the butt portions 5 of the materials to be welded are actually welded, the welding torch is used as the dummy plate material 6.
From a, the other dummy plate material 6 passes over the butt portion 5.
It is moved to b.

Conventional welding of ultra-thin plates was carried out as explained above, but in the above-mentioned welding using the above-mentioned welding material fixing device, the dissipation of welding heat is uneven, resulting in sink marks at the welded edges. Normal welding could not be carried out due to holes occurring during welding. This phenomenon is more likely to occur as the surface tension of the molten material is lower, and the minimum thickness that can be normally welded is 0.1 m for SUS 304, while it is 0.2 m for copper and phosphor bronze. .

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a method for butt welding ultra-thin plates, which improves the drawbacks of conventional butt welding as described above and makes it possible to weld thinner materials by uniformizing heat dissipation. There is a particular thing.
・: Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of the method for butt welding ultra-thin plates according to the present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The state in which two welded materials are butt welded is shown. As is clear from FIG. 2, the welding material fixing device used when carrying out the butt welding method of the present invention is the same as the fixing device used in the conventional method, and therefore the same reference numerals are used. The explanation will be omitted.

In a method for butt welding extremely thin plates according to an embodiment of the present invention,
First, a plate-shaped bath welding stabilizer 8 is placed on the upper surface of the lower fixing jig 2. This welding stabilizer 8 is large enough to extend to the area where both upper fixing jigs 3a and 3b are placed. After placing this welding stabilizer 8 on the upper surface of the lower fixing jig 2, the conventional Similar to the welding method, two ultra-thin plates of materials to be welded 4a

Next, after the welding at the butt part 5 of the welded materials 4a and 4b is completed, the welding stabilizing material that was welded together on the lower surface is removed, leaving the same state as if only the welded materials were butted and welded. By the way, the welding stabilizer 8 mentioned above
A material whose thermal conductivity is equal to or greater than that of the material to be welded is selected. As a result, this welding stabilizer 8 is directly connected to the butt part 5, that is, the bath contacting part, which improves the heat dissipation effect of the welding stabilizer and stabilizes the temperature of the welding part, making the bath contact state extremely stable. It gets better. It is also possible.

As mentioned above, according to the method of butt welding ultra-thin plates of the present invention, sink marks at the welding edges and holes during welding are eliminated, and the minimum weldable thickness is Q, 95 m for copper and phosphor bronze. The range of thicknesses that can be wetted with baths is greatly improved.
