Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled device, wherein a driver and a temperature sensor are mounted on a substrate, a current conduction time and an applying voltage to a heating body are controlled in response to a recording data pattern and the output of the temperature sensor, the control is simplified, and printing quality is improved. CONSTITUTION:A heating body 2, a driver 3, and a temperature sensor 5 are mounted on a same substrate. Thus the scale of a circuit is made small, a device is made compact, and control is simplified. Feedback control is performed in a control circuit 7 in response to the output of the temperature sensor 5, which is mounted on a serial printing thermal head 6. Thus the recording density is made uniform.

整できる。したがって記録濃度を均一にするために、デ
ータのパターンに応じて通電時間又のように栴成されて
おり、記録濃度を均一にするための制御を、データパタ
ーンを認識しその情報をもとに印加電圧又は通電時間を
決定して行なっているので、制御が複雑になってしまう
という欠点かあった。またその制御がオー1ンルー1制
御であるため、印字品質に最も影醤を与えるヘッド自体
の状態を検出してフィードバック制御することができす
、その結果印字品質があまりよくないという欠点もあっ
た。

字品質を大きく向上させるようにしたコンパクトなサー
マルヘッド制御装置を提供することを目的としている。
