    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 指定された文字のパターンを記憶するキャラクタジェネ
    レータの中の、文字パターン記憶に使用されていないア
    ドレスの領域に、印字ヘッドの全部の印字素子を駆動す
    るパターン情報を記憶させ、テストパターン印字の際に
    、この全ドツト印字用のパターン情報を指定して読み出
    すことにより、１つのドツトラインにおいて総ての印字
    素子を駆動し、直線状の連続したパターンを印字できる
    ように構成したことを特徴とするライントッドプリンタ
    のテストパターン発生装置。
