The present invention relates to a capacitive regenerated needle, and particularly to a method of manufacturing a regenerated needle made by polishing a regenerated needle body.

た。In general, this type of regenerated needle is polished into a polyhedron so that the contact surface 1a at the tip of the needle body 1 is polygonal (here, a pentagon), as shown in FIG. A signal detection electrode 2 made of a thin film is attached to the regenerated needle. For example, a high hardness material with excellent wear resistance, such as diamond, is used for such a regenerated needle, and its tip is polished into a polyhedron of a predetermined shape. This was technically extremely difficult and difficult to mass-produce.

After two-sided polishing as shown in the figure, these two surfaces 3b and 8c
A conductive thin film is applied to the conical portion 3d sandwiched between the two by using a thin film technique such as sputtering as shown by diagonal lines. And then the second surface 8b.

Thereafter, as shown in an enlarged view in FIG. 2(c), the tip of the needle body is polished to form a contact surface 3e.

Compared to the conventional method, polishing is easier, the number of polishing steps is reduced, and the mass productivity of recycled needles is significantly improved.
