When dumping settled sludge at the bottom of a treatment tank that treats wastewater such as sewage, the sludge that has just been taken out of the treatment tank still contains a considerable amount of water, so the volume, volume, and weight of the sludge are small. It is inconvenient to transport.

In this state, when the vacuum pump 8 is driven to evacuate the vacuum chamber 4, the water in the processing tank 1 flows into the vacuum chamber 4 through the holes 6 of the furnace cloth 7, and when the vacuum is further drawn. Air above the sludge 2 passes through the sludge 2, the holes 6 and the oven cloth T and flows into the vacuum chamber 4.

When these gaps 10 and cracks 11 occur, air is sucked into the vacuum chamber 4 through these gaps 10 and cracks 11, so less air passes through the area indicated by arrow A, and dehydration in this area A is reduced. The effect gets worse.

Furthermore, the cracks 11 were only formed in a few places on the surface of the fludge 2, and the cracks 11 were not evenly formed, so that the air flowed unevenly, making it difficult to dewater the sludge 2 evenly.

The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a treatment device that does not have the above-mentioned drawbacks by providing an insertion member that allows air to pass through the sludge evenly.

When the sludge 2 shrinks during dewatering, the sludge 2
A gap 13 is created between the partition plate 12 and the partition plate 12, and a crack 14 is generated at the lower end of the partition plate 12.

In this case, since the partition plates 12 are evenly arranged on the surface of the sludge 2, cracks 14 occur evenly.
