Generally, when there are two objects that vibrate, such as the crankcase of an internal combustion engine and an oil pan attached to the bottom of the crankcase, the vibration of the crankcase causes not only the vibration noise of the lower part of the crankcase but also the vibration noise of the oil pan. Therefore, countermeasures against vibration are urgently needed.

For this reason, conventionally, by interposing an elastic body such as rubber or synthetic resin with a sealing effect in the interconnection between the crankcase and the oil pan, vibrations transmitted from the crankcase are isolated at the interconnection. 2. Description of the Related Art A vibration isolation device that prevents vibration noise from an oil pan is known.

However, in the conventional vibration isolating device as described above, the elastic body is fixedly attached using tightening fixtures such as bolts and nuts, so vibrations are transmitted through the tightening fixtures. be exposed.

Furthermore, since the elastic body is used in a compressed state, its spring constant increases, reducing the vibration isolation effect of the elastic body, making it impossible to achieve satisfactory vibration isolation.

In this case, it is possible to improve the vibration isolation effect if the tightening force of the above-mentioned tightening fixture is set to an appropriate level and an appropriate compressive force is applied to the elastic body. The oil sealability between the elastic body and the object is poor, and this is inconvenient when applied between two objects that require an oil seal, such as the interconnection between the crankcase and the oil pan.

In order to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, the elastic body may be directly bonded to the crankcase and oil pan during assembly without using a tightening fixture, but such vulcanization bonding work was difficult.

Also, Utility Model Application No. 51-112143 and Utility Model Application No. 51-11
As seen in No. 2144, there are some models in which an elastic body is interposed between the 2VO bodies using a tensioning tool, but in this case, the initial load of the elastic body is set at the time of assembly, so the assembly work is easy. Because it is difficult, we did not intend to make this setting.
This was simply a matter of using an elastic body to isolate vibrations and create a seal between two objects.

In view of the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional ones, the present invention has been proposed to sandwich and fix an elastic body between two plate-like members having at least rigidity, and at the same time provide a support for the plate-like members to prevent damage to the elastic body. By connecting the two plate-shaped members to two objects, the elastic body can be fixedly attached to two objects so that the elastic body does not become excessively compressed or tensile. The present invention provides a vibration isolation device that is used with a spring constant that provides a sufficient vibration isolation effect.

That is, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, this vibration isolating device 3 is constructed by using rubber or other metal plates between two frame-shaped metal plates 4 and 5 as frame-shaped members along the oil pan flange surface. A similarly frame-shaped elastic body 6 made of synthetic resin or the like is sandwiched and vulcanized and bonded.

In addition, when an oil seal is required at the interconnection part like the crankcase 1 and oil pan 2 of this embodiment, the metal plates 4 and 5 and the respective crankcases of the metal plates 4 and 5 are attached as shown in the figure. 1. A frame-shaped sealing member 12.13 made of rubber or synthetic resin is vulcanized and fixed in advance to the surface on the oil pan 2 side, and the metal plates 4 and 5 are attached to the sealing member 12.13, respectively.

With this configuration, when the vibration isolation device 3 is installed, there is no need to insert a sealing member such as a gasket at the contact portion between the metal plates 4, 5, the crankcase 1, and the oil pan 2, and the installation work is simplified. It is advantageous.

According to this embodiment device, since the elastic body 6 is used in a state that is not excessively compressed or tensile, its spring constant does not become large enough to reduce the vibration isolation effect, and the crankcase The vibration isolation effect transmitted from 1 to the oil pan 2 is increased.

Further, two metal plates 4, 5 and an elastic body 6 were vulcanized and fixed, and the metal plates 4, 5 were fixed in advance between the metal plates 4, 5 and the mating crankcase 1 and oil pan 2. Since the connecting portion between the crankcase 1 and the oil pan 2 is sealed by interposing the seal members 12, 13 or 22, 23, a sufficient oil sealing effect can be obtained.

In the elastic body 6 without support, excessive repeated loads in the vertical direction, particularly in the tensile direction, may cause fatigue due to vertical vibration of the oil pan 2 or impact loads during extreme operation. , become plastic.

Therefore, the vibration isolation effect of the elastic body 6 is reduced, and there is a risk of damage. However, in this embodiment, since the support 7 with high rigidity is provided only in the tensile direction, the elastic body 6 may not be excessively affected. Since tensile stress can be avoided, the above-mentioned problems such as damage to the elastic body 6 will not occur.
