CONSTITUTION:An intermittent type swirl injection valve comprises a valve needle 4 fitted in a valve hole 2 formed in the base end face of a valve body 1 and an injection port 7 which is opened to the front end face of the valve body 1 from a conical valve seat 3 formed in the front end part of the valve hole 2. Further, when fuel pressure which is fed into a swirl pressure chamber 8 from a supply passage 9 through a communication passage 10 in the tengential direction, is raised and therefore, the valve needle 4 is raised, overcoming a spring 6, fuel is injected from the fuel injection port 7.
